Lukasz Zaluska

Based on his first half performance against Dundee Utd, he shouldnt have started for me. He cant concentrate for 90 mins with us he has too little to do.

 

But in all seriousness lads, this is football, and we go with the player who can win us the game. We don't need to worry about anyones feelings.

 

Well maybe lennon should have had a look at the other end of the pitch and brought in a striker, which tonight proved should be the priority.

 

I'm very dubious of the idea of him.

I think it's the way "Lukasz A" is an anagram of "Zaluska" - makes me think it's a made up name, like his identity is entirely constructed.

Could he be some sort of prototype cyborg, controlled virtually by a online committee?

It might explain the unpredictable nature of his performances.

 

Maybe but it sends a wrong message to the team in my opinion.

 

To be honest though, IMO goalkeeper isn't like other positions. Form or high confidence isn't really a big factor in the selection, and more often than not the best keeper will be chosen no matter what happened the week before.

But I do know what you mean. Zaluska should be given a chance to retain his place, and it may make fill in players (Mulgrew at LB) think it is impossible to cement a first team place.

 

i feel for lukasz i really do but neil has acted as if forster has not left and see's that he has done nothing wrong to be dropped , harsh for lukasz but i still get way to jittery when he plays and i dont get that with frazer in goals, very tough decision but in the end , the correct one

We are a pro football club and not a primary school team. The manager must put feelings aside and play whoever he feels is best for the position.

 

he is a better keeper than forster thats for sure. he just makes too many stupid mistakes though. if he hadnt * up again in the dublin cup i would agree, but he did.

Oh, because he's been so shabbily treated hasn't he...He can leave if he wants. If he had strung 3 decent games together, maybe things would have been different. As much as I like him, we don't owe him anything.

 

At DUTD he played week in, week out and played very well and has never been given this chance at Celtic so bluders are bound to happen without match practice. In my opinion he is better than Forster but hasnt been granted the opportunity to prove it (like getting 3-4 months of game time back to back)

 

Why are a lot of people so critical of Zaluska? I'm really getting fed up with our fans singling out certain players as scape goats. What makes Foster a better keeper than Lukasz? Foster was AWFUL last nite. He couldn't catch the cold last nite. For 6ft 7in he cannot grab a cross. Also the abuse Sammy got last nite was disgraceful. The greatest fans in the world. Take a look at yourselves. I sit in section 106 and was sickened to hear these so called fans having a go at our players. Team not playing well don't need moaners and groaners abusing them.

 

Zaluzka might not be great but he's as good as that other string of *...

I said already we should of pushed the boat & got given but we didn't so we just have to put up with it- till Jan at least !!!

I think he should've been number 1 til he messed up then put in Forster. His confidence will be shattered now and I don't blame him of he puts in a transfer request. Feel sorry the guy.

 

Just the way Lennon thinks people can be treated. I am convinced he is gonna get a lot of trouble this season treating people that way. Now it is Zaluska, tomorrow Sammy, the day after tomorrow ....
Players should be more respected as he does.
