he's very unconvincing, only reason we have that stat last season about conceding is because we had such a solid midfield which dominated possession and chances from other teams was very little, something we haven't had for a few years.

1st game of the season, hibs had no attempts on goal- clean sheet, would you give Zaluska the credit? Dont think so

agree,im not zals biggest fan but to get run will give him confidance.forster will be a great keeper 1 day but his dominance in the box needs to improve, every corner near him should always be his..gordan if fit would be class.

    You can't be serious Paul.

Forster is already twice the 'keeper of Zaluska, in my opinion.

So your saying Forster only keeps clean sheets when no one hits shots on target against him?

Is he as good as McGregor? Not by a long shot imo. That being the case, why have we chased after him for a further year loan spell?

McGregor is the difference between them winning and losing games a lot of the time. Can anyone honestly say that about Forster?

Im sayin credit for clean sheets shouldnt always be given to goalkeepers

Its usually down to our strong midfield and good defending

agreed about midfield, but there has to be more to it than that, if there wasnt, Lennon would have the first keeper available to us or stuck with zaluska, but no, he held out for Frazer, and IMO Lennon knows best.:50:

To everyone saying that he'll be good in the future, how do you know? And what's the point in having a keeper who'll be good in the future , we need a quality keeper now not one who'll apparently be good in 3 or 4 seasons.

I heard he wore a kilt once gunt. What's you opinion of him now?

In all seriousness, he is a goalkeeper that will only improve. He has all the physical attributes, he has proved his quality at this club, the goalkeeping coach and the entire squad know him and can communicate with him fine.

If he can improve his woeful kicking and learn to utilise his massive frame properly then we have the England number 1 on our books.

No he means, 21 clean sheets, but how many saves did he make that were very good? Zaluska has had 2 clean sheets from 3 games, great record so far:50:

People who are comparing him to Boruc are living on a different world. Boruc was one of the best keepers we've ever had, keepers his quality are out of our league now. Forster will be (has been) a good goalie for us.

Hard to argue with 24 clean sheets in 44 appearances. Paul Lambert wanted to sign him permanently, recommended him to Celtic and now Neil Lennon wants to sign him permanently. Chris Hughton & Alan Pardew didnt want to sell him to either club. There is a trend of managers rating him highly but gunt knows better and its because of how he looks. Oh dear!

Great news, he was always the clubs number one choice.

A bit of Patience in the transfer market can pay off. Thank * no more Zaluska
    :icon_mrgreen:

Another loan deal is a good thing also in my imo, as long as we have a buy price in the deal.

Man United have just spent a kings ransom on De Gea knowing full well young goalkeepers make mistakes, it's part of their development.

Chelsea done it with Cech at the age of 22 and they've just done it again with Courtois. If you get a young keeper in early with potential and develop them you have a lynchpin of any side.
