    for a big lad, i am amazed that he could not reach that ball when davis scored and standing just out and on the middle of the goal line

    am sure there is better keepers out there

    good keeper...yes there is better out there, but will they come here?

    think hes done well this year. his tats speak for them selfs the lad can pull of some cracking saves just needs to get his speed worked on and hes sorted

    I would like to see him stay, depends on asking price. He's not error free but what keeper is? If we can get him for a decent price, 2 mill to high I would sign him but 1 mill more his asking price I think. Maybe even a bit less.

    maybe a possible look for a cover for Izaguirre if we have any money left after the purchases of the centre back and striker and sell the deadwood and i think we're sorted for anything thrown at us next season.

    Woudnt pay 2 quid for him. He is a bombscare as is Zaluska. Forsters kicking is shocking aswell. Bust the bank and land Given! Would go for wither Westwood or Pletikosa aswell

    His kicking is woeful sure, but a bombscare? Sorry have to disagree there, he's hardly dropping clangers week in week out, * when Boruc went off the boil he made more wild blunders in a season than Forster has, but we'd still consider him a quality keeper.

    Fair enough bombscare is a bit ott but i just don't rate him or feel comfortable with him in goal. We can get better than him.

    There are better keepers than him no doubt, but for how big a transfer fee, and what kind of inflated wages?

    We might have to make do with Forster, and if we have to well lets face it, we could do a lot worse.

    The big man's made a few mistakes but been pretty solid for us.
    If we can get him for £2m I would go for it though. He's a young keeper with potential. Don't agree with the folk saying he's a bombscare , that's just nonsense.

    We better not buy him he's been average if that some games hes not really been tested and some of his saves have been straight forward.

    For a big guy not being able to command his box is shocking every corner he should be out getting that.

    Remember a time when shay given couldn't clear or kick a ball very well for us but worked on it and improved , given is a great shot stopper but his command of the box is poor . Steve Harper current Newcastle keeper is better at this than given . Forster will be back at Newcastle for pre season with Harper still no1 keeper . Forster as never played for senior team so he will get his chance , along with tim krul who has , both are very highly rated In England as is Westwood . Lot of teams looking at Westwood will command big wages as he's on a free

    £2 million ? No chance. Westwood or Schmiechel for me. Westwood on free, sell Zaluska, splash your £1 million or 1.5 million for Schmiechel. That way we have two first class young goalkeepers. Exactly, what a club like Celtic should have. Btw the big yanks a tube.

    I really hope we cough up for Fraser Forster as he is a tremendous young goalkeeper who done us so well last year. I wouldn't want to be tinkering with the keeper's spot all over again.
