Do you mean sneaking into the Celtic end from the Hearts section? That's impossible man.

If you're talking about trying to sneak in at the one of the Celtic turnstyles, really risky but you'd have a slim chance of pulling it off. There's usually security checking tickets even before you get to the turnstyle though, and if the guy at the kiosk reads the ticket then you'll be *, but they usually just rip the ticket stub off and give it back to you, up to you if you want to risk it I guess. :50:

U will never get through the wrong turnstile mate cause they check your ticket before the turnstile and then they scan the barcode in the turnstile. Plus the security will be tight as, after the carry on last game.

Okay, I figured it was a long shot and I appreciate your advice. It will actually be my first SPL match anywhere, so I had no idea how tight it would be. 2 more questions...

    1) Any chance in * that Id find someone selling a ticket outside the stadium for the CS Section?

    2) Is it totally unheard of and stupid to just sit in a different section surrounded by hearts supporters? Like I said, would be my first match and I'm dragging my lady with me from the states and if it would be a better experience to just find a Celtic friendly pub...then I will just do that.

    Thanks again. Cheers!

You can of course watch the game in the Hearts end, but you cannot wear any colours or let anybody know you support the tic (like celebrating when Celtic scores). This is not a baseball game.

But believe me, it will not be fun sitting there with them.

I figured as much, I really don't want to sit with the scum. Guess I'm * out of luck. It's a real shame though, I've never made it to a match and it's my first time in Scotland...it would have been top notch.

    Any CSC/Pub recommendations for Edinburgh?

Oh...and this goes without saying...if anyone for some reason is looking to sell a ticket or two, please let me know.

Sounds way too classy for me. Ha. But I appreciate the offer. Pricey too. I'm more of a hole in the wall pub type of guy. My girlfriend thinks it sounds great though...she would.

You might consider taking the train or coach to Glasgow, it is only an hour away. Plenty of Celtic friendly pubs there (most of them I do not recommend bringing the missus to though). Unfortunately I don't know any good pubs in Edinburgh.

Reason for leaving the lady home? Around here it wouldnt be a big deal, is it different in Glasgow? Also, we are traveling and I'll be in Glasgow on that Thursday for the Europa match and I don't really see myself busing back 2 days later. So I'm still looking for an option in Edinburgh. Thanks for the help guys!

No reason to leave her home if you go to the city center of Glasgow. Lots of reasons if you go to the Gallowgate.

But that is only the opinion of a foreigner. :86:

Had my first match on Thursday, met so many awesome fans...one who literally gave me his jersey right off his back, sat with the GB, had a * blast! Im hooked...I need a seat for Hearts badly. Please let me know if you have anything...could be years before I get to another match. Thanks!
