Sounds like a load of crap from the Mirror and The Sun. No one's been quoted (as usual).
I hope Paddy stays and starts getting some decent game time. I think he's class and hope he show what he's capable of - consistenly.
There must be rivers of gold in Scouserland, if Carrols' worth $35m Paddy's worth at least 10mil

 

His individual goal and amazing talent in another league he wod be a 30m player well be lucky to get 1m for him, but since liverpool are coming in I'd ask for 3-5m and cross my fingers lol

yes he does have great natural talent and is sometimes mesmorising, but not often enough IMO.

would take a mill plus. i often wonder if he would be looked on so kindly if he was the peterboro pele or the darlington diego.

thing is Paddy is a bit part player at most ..We as a club cant carry players like this ..We need players that can step in and do a job for 90 mins ...teams like Liverpool can carry these players and afford to have him sitting on the bench for 70 mins a game then come off the bench to turn a game ..This is not about Paddy being rubbish it about being able to carry a player that sits on the bench the majority of the time ....Liverpool used to have the most famous supersub in David Fairclough ..

 

Paddys proved on several occasions that he can last 90 minutes no problem. He doesn't want to sit on the bench, so unless he got first team football he wouldn't leave.

 

Thats my point ...he isnt getting 90 mins , its obvious that lennon has more mids that he wants to start with over Paddy ..We as a club cannot afford a player that only plays 10-15 mins a game so he will go to a team that can afford that ..i doubt he would get 90 mins at liverpool either

 

i'd keep Paddy unless we get offered £2m plus, i dont think the club could turn down that money.

 

He's better than Maxi Rodriguez but it's still ridiculous.
