    I have to phone a lot of people in aberdeen at work..

    The accents crack me up tbh but WHY do they answer their phone by saying their phone number :31:

    Right no offense to people from Aberdeen here. But they are the strangest people I have ever come across. Well most that I have met when I worked there for a few months. Absolute weirdos!

    the phone number thing isnt just from aberdeen couple of my mates do that. they say the last 4 digits on their number. i do find it very strange though

    The phone number thing is a something that was done years ago. When we were young we were told to say the number when we answered the phone. Maybe Aberdeen has'nt caught on yet.

    i can remember my mum teaching me how to answer the phone when i was a bairn and she told me to pick up the receiver and say our own telephone number......didnt think anyone still did it though.

    infact im sure phone numbers used to be 5 digits, because he always misses a digit out and i can kinda remember something about this when i was younger
