we shouldnt be reinstated. how * embarrassing would it be to be put through by going through the back door.

you get into competitions on merit and winning matches, not by pathetic performances like thursday night!

Not seen any site that's included us in their odds. We'd be way longer than 60/1.

We deserve this sort of luck. Does anyone think that the possibility of being re-instated was in the back of the players heads during the two ties against Sion and resulted in them not playing 100%. Pathetic if it was but its possible.

Of course we accept readmission if its on offer, more money, and European experience for our players, would be loopy to say naw.

yes but the rule is if one team plays with ineligable players their opponents will recieve a 3-0 victory

We shouldn't accept it. It's embarrassing in my opinion. We got * by Sion and we should not be sneaking through the back door. I hope they get fined.

This offence is a technical one, if it's an offence at all. If they had been violent or there was crowd trouble I would not feel the same way. At the end of the day they were far better than us.

true but it doesnt take away from how * bad we were.

if we're not capable of beating a team like sion over two legs, ineligable players or not, we dont deserve to be there.

we would be further embarrassed by athletico madrid, udinese and rennes!

that may be but the rules are set like that its not like they will "throw them out" they will just change the results to 3-0 resp 0-3 on the other hand we seem to pick up our games against better opponents so i dont know

    Two questions
Q1 Is the swiss civil court case tomorrow goin to make a judgement by the end of the day?

Q2 I know most people expect FC Sion to win in the swiss court, and in theory that should not impact on uefa's footballing decision on tuesday, but if they lose does that then mean we are 99.99999% in as there will be no longer any legal risk in uefa chucking Sion out?

If we get in we do deserve it as it's them that will have been found to have broken the rules not us. I can't get over the amount of people who said they didn't want us to get back in and that they wouldn't go to the games if we did  You know if a runner wins a race and fails a dope test they give his medal to the runner up. Scion might have given themselves an advantage that they weren't supposed to so how is that anyones fault but their own. The rules are there and everyone has to abide by them.

I would also love to see us play those teams and who knows we might fare better than we think :86:

Yes and no - No because we didnt play well enough to earn a spot in europe, but 2 goals tht we conceded were scored by a player tht shouldnt have played. Yes because its would give us some money which we really need for future purposes.

Yeh I googled it to find out the full ins and outs of it. I'd obviously heard of the Bosman and knew what it was but never really knew the details of WHY it came about.

Nothing like the Sion case as mentioned either.

Voted yes ofcourse, but is there any official news on this from Celtic and/or the Uefa? It's all great to see this discussion and all going on TC, but are there any steps taken by Celtic?

celtic were advised by UEFA to play both games 'under protest'; why bother saying that unless they were pretty sure celtic would be in?

of course until it's all official a degree of skepticism is healthy :50:

Lennon has been quoted saying we have sent several letters to UEFA on the issue. Platini has also spoken out himself.
