I think what we all realise is that the team and manager are short of experience at European level. Going through by the red tape route at least would allow us to get some experience for them no matter how well or how badly we do and let us build on that for coming seasons.

Sorry, must've missed something: will the decision be made tuesday?
Quite frankly, I'd take getting into Europe, even if it's through the back door. We've been * so many times in Scotland and abroad I'd take a bit of good fortune for once. In addition, the little * that dropped like Hooper had fractured his collar bone by bouncing the ball off him needs to be banned as well. * like that infuriates the * out of me.

We deserve it more than them, at least we followed the rules.

Would people complain about not deserving it if we lost 2-1 to a handball? I bet we would be ripping at how despite not hammering them we where unfairly put put out. Same applies here.

neither did Sion since they used players who weren't even meant to be playing  it's cheating.

One of them made the difference, scoring 2 and was MOTM :97:
So they changed the game when they shouldnt have been on the pitch.

Ok, if it is your opinion that we were good last Thursday and deserve a place in the EL, I am fine with that.

But interpreting the rules is also an opinion (it seems that the breach by Sion is not as clear as everybody thinks) so claiming they have cheated is also an opinion. UEFA deciding that they breached the rules will be a fact.

I am saying again that they should not progress.

But that does imply that Celtic should progress.

I know what your saying mate and I felt the same but the more I think about it the more I say we should go through cos although they beat us they done it with players who shouldn't have been on the pitch.from what I am reading the only chance they have of getting off is on a technicality as it seems there protest is similar to ours with Lennys ban.it's all to do with the wording and sion reckon it was banned for 2 transfer windows but FIFA meant 2 seasons I think

Still shouldnt have been playing. If Kayal and Hooper are suspended come the game at Ibrox next month and we payed them won 2-0 ith two Hooper goals, would Rangers fans say "It doesnt matter they played banned players they beat us".

No they would be going mental probably wanting us relegated for rule breaking.

we were pathetic last night! and using this we were a man down * doesnt crack the pavement for me either. the team did not turn up for a game for the 3rd time in a row.this is not good enough i dont beleive we should be re instated! as we did not earn this right, sion should not either cos they cheated. so bring another team in sions plac e and not ours. i do not want to go through knowing we got pumped but got bailed out through another teams demise and cheating nature. we are out and have to accept this.either way can you lot handle seeing us get humilaited these 6 games? i know i dont want to see this.

I am assuming that FIFA charge them, if they dont then they are fairly in the group stages and I might even support them in it.

But we do deserve to progress if they cheated. The illegal players made the difference no matter how bad we where.

North Korea where not good enough for the World Cup. Did they deserve to be there? Of course, it isnt about how good your team is it is donw to weather they won the qualifying games or not. If Sion played illegal players we won 6-0 and deserve to go threw.
