    well that's him and McGinn away on frees at the end of the season. glad they're off the books but a shame we didn't get a real transfer fee.

    hopefully more will follow him out the door so we can afford the new faces wages.

    they'll have to pay a small fee to get him on loan, same with McGinn.

    stuck with Loovens? he may still leave. if he stays, he'll have to be happy with 5th choice at best. i can't see us bringing in another centre back and i'm content with who we have there atm.

    Good news and good luck Darren. Would like 1 more quality centre-half in though i can't see it happening. Goalkeeper and Striker top priority at the minute IMO.

    Why do we have such a problem selling unwanted players? The guy would do a decent job for several championship clubs and we wouldn't be looking for too much.

    Juarez has market value with him being an international and actually playing well everywhere he's went except in Scotland.

    O'Dea signed a long-term deal just before being shipped out to Reading under the Mowbray reign so i'd imagine he has a few years left on his contract.

    As long as Leeds are paying his wages and it free's up more funds for Lenny then i'm relatively happy although a fee and a farewell would have been preferable lol.

    None of them are near the starting 11 & we're not "selling" them.

    We need to sell players, not loan them.

    We're only not selling some players because teams would rather get them on loan, e.g if we could have got Zaragoza to pay a fee for Juarez then he would have went. As it is they didnt and elected to pay his full wages for a season.

    We have the same problem with O'Dea as with many players. We cant sell them. Clubs wont buy them for the same reason we want to get rid of them.

    O'Dea isnt a bad player, but he is not good enough for Celtic. At least on a loan his wages will help reduce our outgoings.

    I think a loan's better than nothing. If no team comes into actually buy him this window then we're stuck paying his wages without him playing hardly any football. At least this way he gets the games while they pay his wages so it reduces our expenditure.
