    Torino striker Rolando Bianchi could be heading for Scotland after Celtic reportedly prepared a bid.

    According to Datasport, the Glasgow club made contact with Torino on Friday night to enquire after the player.

    Bianchi is not new to Britain, as he had a disappointing spell at Manchester City from July 2007 to January 2008 despite the £8.8m price-tag.

    After Toro failed to gain promotion, he is on the market and looking for a step up in his career.

    However, President Urbano Cairo is not eager to sell his top stars unless there is big money involved.


    He was once pretty highly rated so could be interesting if true. Got this from a post on KDS so don't have the link to the article.

    I know anyone can look good in they videos but he does look to be a good strong target man that can score good goals with both head and feet think they would want a few quid for him tho

    He wasn't that bad at City. Not as bad a flop as Samaras. More to do with not settling than playing badly.

    I'd take this guy easily. Big tall striker and also his scoring record at Torino is pretty decent, 54 goals in 104 games.
