    Wilson is a workhorse who gives his all to the team. Great player,great attitude. Didn't sulk or go in a huff when Hinkel and Cha were in the team (even though he was probably injured for an amount of that time), just waited and took his chance when it came along.
    I also think he brings great balance to the team along with Izzaguirre on the left.

    I think he's a decent enough player. Was shocking on Sunday right enough, getting caught out of position time and time again and misplaced a few passes as well. First game of the season though and he did well when he came into the team last year so no big deal.

    Wilson is very capable defensively.

    He's one of the reasons our defensive record was so good last season. He can still improve going forward in my opinion but I'm very happy for Wilson. His defensive work is vital for us.

    In my opinion hes under rated. Keeps the ball well, puts in good defencive tackles and is brilliant at pushing forward when needed and can put a decent ball into the box.

    I don't think excellent is an over-statement to be honest, in a defensive sense at least. It's very rare indeed to see a winger get past Wilson.

    always liked him as a player even when he was at united hasnt been a regular but not always his fault but has never let us down. The fact as a rb he played most of the time at lb under wgs and did well says it all

    I think he proved a lot of people wrong last season, me included, maybe all he ever needed was to stay fit and get a run of games.

    Was great going forward too and chipped in with a few goals.

    Fully deserves his place in the team for me, time will tell in Europe.

    I don't think mark wilson is under or overrated, i think you know exactly what you are going to get from him, a solid consistent performance, nothing flashy or special just a consistent performer.

    There should be a picture of Mark Wilson next to the word 'average' in the dictionary. Personally I would prefer to see Matthews get a chance but I'm also fine with Wilson at right back. Don't think he comes close to Hinkel's level when WGS was at the club.
