Henrik Larsson first season.

Im having an argument with a m8 can someone tell me what postion Larsson played the first season he joined, was he a central striker or a winger?

How many goals did he score that season?

 

Always a central striker but prepared to run anywhere up front.

 

But was he not a winger before joining Celtic, and I thought this may have been the role he was bought for Celtic.

I think your right, the first few games he was not an out and out striker but he quickly became one. I think he started just behind the front two but not for long.

 

Any idea of goals jonnbhoy? Im sure at first he was percived as a dodgy buy, not just on the basis of his mistake on his debut but on the season as a whole.

 

He scored 16 goals in his first season.And 29 in his second.

He played as a striker. Firstly alongside Donnelly, then Brattbakk after we signed him. I think he scored 19 in his first season.

 

when we bought him all the papers said he was an attacking midfielder
