    Scoring Points

    Your team will score points based on the real-life performance of your players in Barclays Premier League matches during the 2011/12 season.

    All Players

    Starting XI +2 points
    Substitute appearance +1 point
    Goal scored +5 points
    Goal assist +3 points
    Man of the match +5 points (as nominated by Skysports.com)
    Yellow card -1 point
    Red card -3 points (includes -1 for yellow card)
    Missed penalty -3

    Goalkeepers & Defenders Only

    Clean sheet +5 points
    Goal against -1 point

    Goalkeepers Only

    Save or missed penalty +3 points

    Nominated Captain

    Double points – positive or negative

    Points Updates

    Team points will update live on match days. These are indicative and exclude man of the match points. Classified points will appear by 10am the morning after each match day
