What were Larsson's weaknesses?

his perfectionism got slighty irritating-no the best at penalty kicks,missed a few important ones

 

Who were the missed penalties against?

I cant think of him missing one off the top of my head I just remember he never used to take them as him and Henry were the same like that that they hardly ever took penalties like they were superstitous. Thompson and Hartson used to take them and LArsson took the odd one he must have only took like 15 in his 7 years here.

 

well im not too sure on his weaknesses tbh, he is a great overall player. he definatly wasnt the fastest, but he had enough pace on him to do the job - it was never a problem for him.

when you think of other strikers at the club, for example hooper, his weakness would be in the air. i think everything hooper has is great.

If Larsson had the dribbling skills like ronaldo or messi, then (imo) i dont think he would be the same. you dont really need that as a striker, you need to be able to turn defenders and trick them. a good first touch always helps, so i wouldnt go as far to say his first touch was a weakness. but like i said, overall a great player, ideal. didnt really go through any consistancy problems either, always reliable

 

Aye you could say of Messi if he had the aerial ability of Larsson or Ronaldo had the off the ball movement of Larsson they'd be better players too. :tongue2:

 

i couldn't give a * what his weaknesses were i only remember his many strengths and thats all i ever want to think about where the king of kings is concerned

Biggest weakness - played for Manure!

 

No matter what he did he just couldn't score! In all seriousness, I would say his biggest downfall was his lack of pace. But saying that, he wasn't exactly slow either.

 

This is a stupid thread. Larsson is a legend, end of.

 

I also think that he wasn't appreciated as much for years from individuals in other leagues as it is the norm for certain people to run our game down. It would always be the excuse that he is only scoring in the SPL despite the fact his goal scoring record in Europe was ahead of most strikers. I think he shut a few of these people up when we played teams from their leagues though.

 

Weakness's? Perhaps could have scored a few more goals. Maybe set up a few more chances? Maybe ripped the orcs a new one more often?

Suppose he did okay though.

only thing i can think of is that he wasnt nasty enough but thats me clutching at straws the guy was a one off and through all his goals and skill and assists his main quality was his loyalty to our club he wasnt on peanuts but could have made alot more elsewhere a few players in the game now could learn alot from THE KING OF KINGS

 

Weaknesses, the cheating * left me for another club! He walked out on mr when I needed him most and he left me empty and broken hearted, how dare he be the best player since the Lisbon lions and last utter genius to wear our hoops, how dare he spend seven years wooing me with his devotion and team carrying work rate and goals , he is a cold hearted floozy for leaving me for Barcelona !


Other than that I bet if he came back today he would still be better than everyone of our team, every single one of them


Weaknesses, not worthy of mention

 

His pace is not a weakness.
