    I just can't get enough
    McGeady of course and after he left Celtic he improved his skills. Commons was very good but it was only half of season and nobody know can he continue or not his lucky way in Celtic

    Commons every day of the week for me, for the price we got him at the guy has been unbelivable and I'm seriously surprised he wasn't playing in the EPL before we signed him. He has ability, strength and so many goals in him, he was one of my favourite players last season.

    Although I do believe in having home grown talent like McGeady, I think it's so important that Celtic keep working on that and developing stars like McGeady. He's matured a lot recently but I still have to say Commons with this one, because I feel he has so much more to offer even though McGeady was outstanding for us at times.

    How can commons be winning? We have only seem him play for about 6 months.

    Mcgeady was with us for years, helped us in winning the SPL, Scottish Cups and playing the Champions League, you cant compare the two.

    Aiden, the wee man dragged carried us at times.

    Commons end product has been better because of his goal tally but i think aidens more skillful and has superior technique.

    I see commons more as left forward than a wide wingman like aiden.

    Comparing the both of them (and I'm a massive McGeady fan and always have been) in the SPL then Commons has already shown more goalscoring prowess than Aiden ever did.

    The string to the bow that McGeady never had and still to this day lacks is finishing. Commons is far superior in that department.

    I think McGeady would have flourished under Neil Lennon last season.
    I think people always looked to him for somthing to win us games and basically I felt that made him a scapegoat. Too much responsiblity and not enough credit.

    Commons because he scores more and gives more for the team. McGeady was awsome to watch and is a great talent but there was too much missing from his game (final ball, goals etc....)

    I know what your saying, but Commons has had 6 months. I remember a certain Greek striker had a great start with us and was raved about. IF Commons can continue his form for all of next season then maybe then can be compared.

    Is this just "Who has been Celtic's best player recently?" How recent is "recent"? I'd have to say Nakamura or maybe Skippy. None in the last four years has made the impact those two made during 3IAR. But if it's since Strachan left, I'd say Izzaguire.

    McGeady only turned up for about 20% of the games he played for us,spent more time waving his * arms about than putting in decent crosses. Pity though because he had the ability to be a Celtic great instead of a greetin faced *.
