    There not bad teams to go to Doncaster, Preston, Charlton :50: Certainly isn't a bad thing, I think Josh has the basis of being a good player and with more experience he can only get better.

    Played for england under 19's in the european under 19's championship making 3 appearances in july 2010

    Get international and club level experience at championship level. He is still young and has alot to learn needs to start getting more 1st team games week in week out and celtic cant offer this to him at the moment

    I like him. Has the raw potential to be a very good centre-back. Scored a few goals for us last year and was one of the few who came out of the Mowbray era with any credibility.

    I think he might pleasantly surprise some people in a couple of years. For me, he can become a far, far better defender than Majstorovic.

    Don't think he was getting a game at Rochdale or at least not every game, still hes only 20, so still has time for improvement :50:

    Surprised he wouldn't be in the team for the U19 CL.

    Whilsti want the bhoy to do well i think at 20 you should maybe looking to make a impact as a first team player or certainly being classed good enough for the bench. If your not doing that at 20 i would bet on him not doing it come 25 etc.

    He isnt shocking but i dont think he will be good enough even further down the line - Hope he proves me wrong though!

    He done a good job playing next to Loovens for half the season. But I think if he were to go out on loan again that it should be to an SPL team or somewhere where he'll get a game regularly. No point in him warming someone elses bench.

    I like him, think he's got good potential.

    I'd be happy to see him get that in the Championship and come back a better player next season.

    something to note here, good 20 year old centre backs tend to turn into good 25 years old centre backs.

    Average 20 year old centre backs turn into average 25 year old centre backs.

    * 20 year old centre backs turn into * 25 year old centre backs.

    Its just logic. For example, thompson is 20, rogne is currently 21. Rogne looks good for a 20/21 year old. Thompson for a 20/21 year old looks average.

    Should i rest my case their, or shall we go digging up all promising 20 year old cbs? :87:

    personally I think he is utter pish and never will be good enough (and i prepared to eat humble pie if ever proved wrong) to play for Celtic. Seen him playing against St. Johnstone (might have been 1st game on shocking pitch?) and had a bet wi ma mate that he'd never get better. Think he paid out after a few more games.
