Now that's the clubs I would say are the biggest and that isn't adding in clubs like Borrusia Dortmund, Feyenoord, Corinthians, Sao Paulo, Flamengo or your Eastern European teams like Red Star Belgrade. Your Anderlechts, Copenhagens, Steaua Buchurests or any of the teams from Moscow.

I would say a lot of they clubs up there are on level pegging with us. What about Nottingham Forrest in terms of history? We are in the second pegging clubs, not one of the elite. We have never been one of the elite and that is solely down to the league we play in.

I've just seen Arsenal doing a training session in front of 20,000 fans in Kuala Lumpur. When you see things like that it makes you think that perhaps we're not as big a club as we think we are.

I can't see 20,000 people turning up to watch us train somehow. If we were playing in the EPL then I'm sure it would happen.

Sad to say that I believe we are potentially one of the bigger clubs in the world and have a great fan base, but in all reality, the Scottish game isnt even on the radar in most of the world.

And when I see us scrabbling about for players on the cheap, it depresses me. The club plays on us being the greatest fans in the world and yet when other clubs shop at Armani, we are wondering when Matalan are having a sale.

Not saying we should go into massive debt. But a big club would be a little bit more adventurous.

We have a major shareholder who is a billionaire, yet rarely puts his hand in his pocket.

So I believe we are a big club on the world stage, but Im not sure that people outside this country believe that.

I agree,I wish there was some way we could stop being a plc and have Desmond give us a £20million budget every 5 seasons or so,infact not even that much, just enough to go out and pay the required £4million to get the world class goalie we need in Shay Given.
