If he makes the grade at a better league in the next couple of years he would get the nod.

peterborough had a bid of 250 000 raising to 350 with appearences etc. Derry told them 350 was the price for their upcoming star and pull out of talks. Wigan & everton seem very interested. For that price you couldnt go wrong, at worse money back when sold on.

I'm not gonna kid anyone on. I know nothing about this guy on any level to pass comment on him really. So you reckon he would be worth the 350k?

    Yes.
He's a much better prospect than mcginn. Everton took a lesser prospect from this league a couple a years ago from sligo rovers called seamus coleman. For this kind of money hes worth a punt.
Look at the huns, they bought potential? for 3-4m called k.lafferty:56:

James McClean is poised for a move to the Stadium of Light
Derry City have accepted a bid from English Premier League side Sunderland for highly-rated winger James McClean.
The 22-year-old will travel to Sunderland on Monday for a medical.
McClean has been a target for a number of English clubs this summer, with Peterborough United making two offers for the player.
His impressive form has resulted in a first call-up to the Northern Ireland squad for the Euro 2012 qualifier against the Faroe Islands.

Exactly, i'm not sure if he's international class yet but Worthington only wanted to block the Republic from calling him up down the line so good decision from James.
