all the match ups have been fairly even so far, some great games; just watched the highlights of the san jose avs game what a freaky goal to win the match!!! and that kid anderson had a 51 save shutout!!!!

was gutted the other night, Canadiens 4-1 @ the caps and cruising then Ovi finally gets his * in gear and they win 6-5 in OT

I'm going to America in June, is that around Stanley Cup final time? not that i'd have a hope in * in getting a ticket but would be quite cool none the less!!

 

A 51 save shutout, now that's impressive. The Canadiens against the Capitals sounded like a good game but not seen the highlights yet. What's the score going to be tonight do you think you'll get a win at home?

The Stanley cup final is around June time, not sure the exact date but you would be struggling to get a ticket.

 

Glad to see Anderson doing well with Colorado. Always said he was a kick * keeper. the panthers were lucky to have 2 excellent keepers in 08/09 with Anderson and Vokoun. that's the reason why they nearly made the playoffs...

 

Was gutted too! Everyone thought Capitals would steam-roll us and get 4 wins on the trot but we've put up a good fight so far. I think we could beat them again tonight tbh seeing as all season they've struggled against us! But Ovechkin is just another class so...

Playoffs are usually around the start of June but no chance you'll get a ticket lol. They're expensive as * anyway

How is that a kicking motion? Thats a stop/deflect so he doesn't drive through the net and get called for a penalty against the keeper.
LA getting a helping hand, though another thing that doesnt help is our penalty kill sucking so bad without Willie Mitchell

 

It was another dodgey decision but you can't just blame that. The Kings are brilliant on the power play just now and the Canucks are poor shorthanded so it's only going to result in goals for the Kings if the Canucks keep getting men sent to the penalty box.

Next game is in LA so if we can get a win it's looking good! :icon_mrgreen:

 

Yep, next game will definately be a deciding factor, Luongo needs to kick it up, though the defence ain't helping him. And we need to start pushing your young team around more, with none of these light penalties like hooking.

 

ha ha didnt actually think i'd be able to afford one anyway never mind get one! shame to see montreal get humped 5-1 last night, the caps 2-1 up on the series, Habs really need to win the next game to have a chance!

 

The Habs could have easliy been two up going into game three. They really let the Caps off the hook in game two. That was the series right there. I can't see them beating the Caps three more times.

Your bhoys are looking good. Crosby has been a monster thus far both on the offensive side and defensive side. And once Malkin really gets going it's gonna be scary.

And just a note on my Red Wings. Nicely done by Jimmy Howard and his first ever playoff shutout last night. This guy has been great for us all year. I hope he gets some serious consideration for Rookie of the Year.

I really can't understand the fascination about the montreal canadiens. there is only one team I really dislike in the NHL and that's them.

a team full of dicks, their supporters are a bunch of arrogant and unfriendly twats. do they still want to become an own country?
