    one part of me wants to say give big lukasz a go, he loves the club and all :50:
    but on the other hand he hasnt exactly filled me with confidence before, imo always looks shaky at set pieces.

    Guillermo Ochoa signed for Ajaccio on a free transfer today, was he not meant to be pretty good?

    Would have thought he would have got a better club than that.

    As for us, would take Forster back if we can agree a deal. Other than that, am not sure, the likes of Given is too expensive for us.

    * sake, we had a keeper last season who kept a record amount of clean sheets behind a very ropey defence yet we are scratching around looking at EPL keepers past thier best or consistently injured. This seems to be something that we could easily remedy.

    Neil should be on the phone to Newcastle and up the bid to £2m for Forster, the big guy didnt let us down last season. Hope to * we dont have to put up with Zaluska.

    Are you mad??Hes 2nd choice at best.3RD CHOICE EVEN.ffs.:54:.* *.One week weve Given.Next week its Zaluzka.FFS.We need a goalie.Big time. Zal wont do.the huns have a brilliant keeper(it pains me to admit it).We NEED a proper keeper.

    He's pure *. I'll be gutted if we pay for him . I'd only take him on a free . He's Newcastle 3rd choice ffs . the stats flattered him , he never earned us any points . Is rather big dom before him .

    Zaluska no chance of being our number 1 keeper, and Cervi is nothing but a big dumpling, he's 23 or 24 now, and been with us for 2 or 3 years now. If he was any good he would have made the break-through by now. We need a class goalie, who can be assured to save us on our "bad days", looks like we are going to be getting Pletikosa, who seems like our answer. Longer term, I think we will sign Craig Gordon, who is another cracking goalie, and we can get his fitness fully checked out before any move takes place.

    I am majorly worried that we are going into another season with zaluska as first choice. Does no-one at the club remember start to last season?! This i am sorry is ridiculous re a goalie. They've had 2 years nearly to get it sorted. Plan always was to sell boruc. Quit penny pinching and get someone as good as the other lots in place.

    this Pletikosa guy, if hes half decent and is free celtic will have him

    it will save them 2 mill by not going for Forster we talk about the huns spending habbits,ours is just slightly better

    one way or another there will be another goaly in

    He is too streaky.. Plays good during stretches, then will go through a period where he plays absolutely awful.:38:

    Thats the reason why he didn't go to a better club...

    pletikosa is a croatian international, and played for spartak moskva and spurs, i'd say he's more than good enough for SPL

    There are plenty of keepers good enough for the SPL. Whether he is good enough for Celtic is what concerns me. A goalie who has hardly kicked a ball in anger in the last two seasons is disconcerting.

    Seems like we are looking at a cheap option here. He may turn out to be a decent enough goalie, but given that for the relatively low fee of £2m we could have had Forster, I hope it doesnt turn out to be a poor gamble.
