    The draw for the World cup in Brazil 2014 takes place on July 30th

    Looks like Scotland will be in pot     4 this time.

    Best Group - Greece, Slovenia, Hungary, Scotland, Faroe Islands, San Marino :50:

    Worse Group - Spain, France, Belguim, Scotland,Finland, Wales. :38:

    Pot 1: Spain, Netherlands, Germany, England, Portugal, Italy, Croatia, Norway, Greece
    Pot 2: France, Montenegro, Russia, Sweden, Denmark, Slovenia, Turkey, Serbia, Slovakia

    Still cant believe we are pot 3. We are better than Norway, Greece, Montenegro, Denmark, Slovenia and Solvakia.

    Ideal group for us (Ireland)

    Norway, Montenegro, Ireland, North of Ireland, Faroe Islands, San Marino.

    Think it has to do with the fifa rankings, you get more points for wins in Euopean championship qualifers than you do friendly's think thats why teams like Norway and Greece are in pot 1.

    We where in pot 2 for last world cup qualify draw so going down to pot 4 is not good, look how teams like Belguim have struggled over the years when they have fallen down the pots.

    how is Ireland in Pot 3, they have a much better record in recent tournements than most of the teams ahead of them and they were in the world cup qualifiers, how montenegro, norway, sweden and france are ahead of them is beyond me

    France and Sweden understandable, Montenegro and Norway not really. Norway always seem to be ranked around the top 10, which I find very odd as they haven't qualified for a big competition since Euro 2000.
