I think there is a case here where the comments about the boy are being brushed under the carpet because of who his mother is. I wonder if Boyle had pointed out some disabled child in his audience and made the same joke about his mother sitting at his side, would it have been classed as funny, or as harmless?

I don't think there should be selective comedy when it comes to a child's disability, or who that child's parents are.

My wee boy is severely autistic and we were told he will never be able to speak. He wont be able to tell his mum he loves her.

He is 11 years old and is still in nappies. We have to put up with a lot of people giving him and us funny looks.

Aye, your right mate. If people think this is funny, they obviously have no concept of having a disabled child. I hope he never does.

Katie price has the right to have a bit of a moan about this whole situation.

    Having said that..

Frankie boyle didnt say it because he hates disabled kids, he said it because he hates katie price. Had harveys mum been some random lady from a council flat in leeds, franky boyle wouldnt be on TV talking about her son.

Katie price has brought this all on herself, putting her kids on TV, you are ALWAYS going to get people saying nasty stuff.

What frankie said was disgusting, but katie hasnt done anything to help herself.

I tell her to get to *, its a joke, not some personal vendetta against her. She sits there and slags him off when hundreds of people in the audience wet themselves, whistled and cheered? I can guarentee thousands of people did. It was a joke, he said it himself. Hes a comedian, he makes jokes. Maybe he wasnt making fun of harvey, maybe he was just highlighting the fact that his mums a *?

If she didnt want this kinda thing then she wouldnt have put her kids into the limelight like she has, she doesnt deserve to be a mother imo, shes a disgrace.

I dont have any sympathy for Katie Price. The people I feel sorry for are those trying to find the energy, finance and support to give children with additional needs the oppertunities and quality of life that they deserve. Katie does not face this daily challenge as she has a team of employees to do it for her.

I don't find Frankie Boyle funny anymore but I do rate comedians such as Jerry Sadowitz who regularly uses material which is meant to shock AND stimulate discussion. I saw him last year and he joked about child * abuse and madeline mcann and I laughed.

Using your sons disability to further your own career is far more inappropriate than ridiculing "Celebrities" children on a post watershed comedy show imo.

Katie Price is a slag who hardly ever watches her kids in the first place the program Frankie Boyle was on gave warnings before it came on "if easily offended dont watch" so of course there is gonna be sick jokes and they are funny as *....

I like Jordan, she is a caring mother, it's not easy bringing up a disabled child.

Yeah, I think she is a good mother, she always comes across as one.

But, she is also a fame hungry media *. Jordan will have nannies and childminders aplenty to help her look after her kids. I certainly hope so as she appears to be hitting a lot of night clubs/ beaches/ awards etc.

Perhaps a little less attention seeking and a little more trying to keep her children out of the limelight and she would be getting a little more sympathy.
