Don't talk *, your English is excellent!

Serious question though, and I'm basing this on just you and football pundits, why is it that Dutch people speak such good English? Is there a specific reason?

It's a subject in their schools. They start learning in primary school all the way up to high school. It's a second language. Also I think it's a compulsory subject so they have to take it.

Lol cheers I'm not sure I think alot can speak a decent bit of English because most of the popular tv shows and children tv shows here are in English. So from a young age on you get bombarded with English words and sentences. In other countries they translate this to the native language. For example Germany uses German voice overs for almost all English spoken tv shows. That has it's effect on the amount of English words the average German person knows. I still find the English grammar quite difficult though that's what you do not learn from TV. Anyway thanks for your compliments :notworthy
