Couldn't find the reccomend a player thread but surely we would be able to afford Tshabalala? I heard he is in talks with Nottingham Forest. He is a cracking player.

don't care how tall a player is as long as they score. Larsson was shorter than 6 foot. i'd take him over any target man in the world.

as for Musona if he won't strike a deal with the Germans, i don't think he'll strike a deal here. time to move on i think.

Musona involved with that goal, can't tell if he got the assist or was the initial attacker that passed it on. He's looked good despite being a bit rusty.

Overall he had some good passes and helped set up the goal. He had that one wayward shot and almost completed a pass which would have likely ended up in a goal had it not been for last ditched effort lunge by the defender to break it up.

Musona looked to me to have quite a bit of pace and good footwork. His passing seemed decent and I think it's worth noting that he probably was a bit rusty having had to travel back and forth right before the game. I think he's worth a shot, we do still need a striker and I think with his pace and footwork, he offers something a bit different than Hooper does.

I was also quite impressed by the South African keeper Khune. He made 2 amazing saves at in the 2nd half and looked great throughout the entire game. I remember seeing him in the world cup and thinking he looked good. He's only 24 and has 30 caps for South Africa in the last 3-4 years. I think he would not be a bad signing if we can't seem to get Pletikosa or Gordon as well.
