Went to Barcelona one year on holiday with my family, me and my brother had our celtic tops on because we were going on a tour of the Nou Camp.

Anyway, theres a big tourist attraction called the magic fountain and theres thousands of people there to see it each day and we walked through wearing our Celtic tops, a group of about 8 guys from Barcelona spotted us and started chanting and clapping "Celtic Glasgow" for about 2 minutes solid, we didn't know where to look haha had thousands of people staring at us.

Couldn't take the smile off my face for about a week after that though.

Another example; I just got back from holiday and there are Celtic home and away strips on sale in Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Only other non dutch teams were man u, barcelona and arsenal :50:

Any Hun who claims their club is bigger than ours are deluding themselves. Reading all these stories just makes me realize more and more how much bigger and better than them we are. The fact that the Nou Camp gift store sells Celtic merchandise says it all.

Unofficial Barca shops(Probably their equivalent to Timland etc) also sell Celtic gear. I was in one last year and they sold allsorts of wee Barcelona things like cups, hats, scarves, t-shirts, keyrings, fridge magents etc plus they sold a variety of celtic ones too, celitc mugs, hats, scarves t-shirts, the only other team :celt_2:

We've always had a great relationship with Barca anyway. I remember that Joan Laporta saying years ago that we were the best travelling support in the world (no brainer).

Where I go to college in the United States, you occasionally see people wearing jerseys. I know of one kid who regularly wears Liverpool, one who regularly wears Real Madrid, one who regularly wears Bayern, two who regularly wear Man U, and five who regularly wear Celtic.

Small sample size admittedly, but five fans at a small college in the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania is not bad at all.

Of course I know Celtic to be the bigger club. But as I've been growing up in Boston. I have seen more Rangers tops. Which is a shocker but I reckon it was just Scottish tourists. I have only known three Celtic fans and it was me to get them into football in the first place.

If anyone wears anything sports wise. It is my local teams. A lot of Revs fans around Cambridge area. Where I am from.

I always see people in the hoops in Chester, and if you're wearing your shirt around the town you will always get atleast one Hail Hail. Only ever seen two people with Rangers shirts around here, and one was about a week ago walking out the pub shouting "* all you * *"

In the USA we have so many bandwagon Man U fans it's sick. I always ask them if they have it on over their LeBron jersey... they usually don't like that. Hail, hail! and Go MAVS!!!

celtic donated thousands of shirt to needy children in nairobi during the MON era. you still see them worn around today even though they probably know little about celtic. hopefully this wanyama deal will bring the notice ive been craving for celtic since i was wee.

One thing about our board you cant knock them for is promoting the clubs name abroad, considering the little tv coverage we get overseas i think we do well.
Id love to see how much merchandise revenue we take in compared to rangers outside of scotland.
