Lhads i need help getting out of a mobile contract, i signed 18month contract in feb and it has not really bothered me until now but everytime i recieve or make a phone call i have to go to the window or even step outside not on all but most phone calls... the wife is also on the same network but not on contract..... phone calls between us end in arguments with me telling her to go to window and her telling me that she is at it.... the main problem is the phone company are telling me that they can not guarentee indoor coverage and tough luck i should have read the contract.... there must be a way out because its really getting t me now:38:

Sounds like you'll just have to grin and bear it, or use a different networks SIM in the phone (but still pay the bill). There's no way they will let you out of the contract after six months because you can't get a signal in the house.

I think this is actually quite a common problem mate tbh, did you ask what the coverage was in your area before you signed the contract ?

no because its always been very good.... when i was in apartment i had meteor(orange) and had no coverage so switched t o2 but was not tied down... now im in new house and its the other way around :31:
they said they can check coverage of phone calls if i give them an example and when they come back with results its saying its ok ...but i know its not

How can they possibly check everyones house for signal before they sell you the phone, if you want to do that it is up to you but there is literally no chance whatsoever that O2 will just let you out of the contract after six months.

It's nothing to do with the customer is always right, O2 do not claim to have 100% coverage, so you saying you can't get a signal is not something that will break the contract.

Could try a signal booster (can get them off ebay for a couple of quid). Worked a treat for me when I had trouble with 3.

had a similar problem with getting out of a contract with o2, if you want to cancel it they make you pay a termination of contract payment which is your standard monthly bill times the amount of months you have left on the contract. I ended up havin to pay £330 for a termination of contract, but thats what happens when you sign on the dotted line :47:

Can you not just go to another phone company and sign on with them, they then give you the money to buy yourself out of the current contract, dont know how it works where you are but my son, mum and niece have all did this in Glasgow, just make sure you pay it off and dont do what my son did,(spend the money and end u paying 2 contracts) lol
