    The 32 yr old 6 foot tall keeper has represented Spain at youth level, winning the 1999 Fifa Youth Championship, won a silver medal at the 2000 Olympics and won a solitary full international cap in 2004.Aranzubia made his name at Athletic Bilbao before moving to the Riazor stadium in 2008. Since then he has been the club’s first choice keeper and has made over 70 appearances for Depor.


    He has several seasons experience in La Liga..... That's not a bad league mate!!

    West Ham got relegated, would you not take any of their players either?? Is Scott Parker considered * now that his team have been relegated??

    Why should we be going all out for a GK thats 35 and had 2 major surgeries on his shoulder with the last being only a few months ago? The guys on the way down.

    Aranzubia missed the first six games of the 2010–11 season due to injury, but again finished as a starter for Deportivo. On 20 February 2011, he scored with his head after a 95th minute corner kick, as his team managed a 1–1 draw at UD Almería,[3] becoming the first goalkeeper in La Liga history to score from open play.
