Has anyone mentioned that that Roumanian kid Dumitru Copil is, according to the BBC "90%" signed, sorry about the bold, it just kinda happened. 250k, being descibed by his manager as a Lampard-esque player. Knocked back Liverpool to sign for us.

Spiers who's fairly reliable says Copil is signing for the Scumbos
and Maloney is almost certainly going to sign a pre-contract with an EPL club.He also says that Pressley is still an option.:38:

Leeds can take our two but they can keep Killganan and Healy. It would be a bad move for Healy esp, look wot happened to Lennon when he signed for Celtic and played for N.Ireland

I just thought it might be an interesting news for all those who share their ideas concerning January Transfer Window Thread. The Spanish Radio Marca has just presented the list of nine most recommended players who could possibly join Primera Division clubs in upcoming transfer window.

Players list recommended by Radio Marca:

    (Name, age, nationality, present club)

    1. Ismael Bangoura - 21 years, Guinea, Le Mans

    2. Afonso Alves - 25 years, Brasil, Heerenveen

    3. Nani - 20 years, Portugal, Sporting Lisabon

    4. Wladimir Bystrow - 22 years, Russia, Spartak Moskwa

    5. Per Ciljan Skjelbred - 19 years, Norway, Rosenborg Trondheim

    6. Aleksiej Jeremienko - 23 years, Finland, Saturn Ramienskoje

    7. Gustavo Nery Castillo - 22 years, Urugway, Olympiakos Pireus

    8. John Carew - 27 years, Norway, Olympique Lyon

    9. Radosław Matusiak - 24 years, Poland, BOT GKS Belchatow

Excepting Portugal' s Nani described as "another Christiano Ronaldo" being already on Man United wishlist (the rumours say his price is 12 million GBP), do you think any of these young and perspective players could join Celtic for reasonable price? Which of them would you like most to become the new Bhoy?

Gustavo Nery Castillo & Nani are on Chelsea and Man United wishlists. Castillo is having work permit problems and couldnt come to England last summer

Why would Carew want to leave Lyon in January?

When it comes to Carew it seems he is considering leaving Lyon, because in Gerrard Houllier' s concept he is only forward number 3 what in fact reduces his chances to appear on the pitch as often as he wishes. Of course being number 3 in competition with such players as Karim Benzema, Frederico Fred, Sidney Govou, Sylvain Wiltord or Gregory Bettiol is not a shame, but it is obvious that being key player even in weaker team is better than sitting on the bench in Lyon for ambitious and still young forward.

Of course Dempsey, I do totally agree with you! Please, note that I was just mentioning less or more confirmed speculations of Spanish journalists and personally I think that if Carew really left Lyon it wouldn' t happen before summer 2007.
