Massively potential banana skins in the play-off round for us in the shape of Hannover & FC Mainz, as much as i would like an away day to Germany i would much prefer to avoid anything from the Bundesliga until the group stages!!

The rest of the likely unseeded teams for the play-off we should be beating no bother.

We need to get through the qualifier first, want to avoid Hannover, Mainz, Sochaux, Bursaspor and Trabzonspor in that.

Alot of tough games against some german/french teams that people may see as easy. It would be good if we got spurs to show 'arry and the rest of his laaandin mob and the world that we're a quality side again and back to beating top quality sides at fortress paradise

 

Anybody notice that when we draw a team that is relatively unknown said team has the best season in their history? * me right off when we think it should be a stroll and it turns into a nightmare but the laptop loyal are creaming themselves and always forget to report that the team of unknowns go on to beat loads of big clubs later on ala Braga.

I might amuse you to know that Unirea got relegated from the top Romanian league last season and game 17th out of 18 teams

 

Oh Capital Bhoy, don't even get me started on that mob and the teams they draw, it's the complete opposite with them,the teams they draw should be putting goals past them but for some reason turn out to be murder. That Turkish mob they drew last year were the worst side I have ever seen play champions league football , yet they should still have beaten them at the shitpit. Sorry a tad off topic lol.

 

I hope both these teams get in so we can get our co-efficient up. Suppose we need the huns to do well anaw, but I just love seeing them get pumped of everyone.

I reckon Celtic could do reasonably well this year. Not going as far as to say we will win it or even get close but I reckon wee Lenny has a better Idea about how to play European football than most given his experience playing in many a European campaign. Martin O Neil knew how it was done and so did wee Gordon to an extent and I reckon Lenny knows full well that it's a completely different ball game to domestic football. Well I * hope so anyway.
