i have been wondering for a while now whats going on with zaluska but more puzzling cervi. both these keepers were bought which shows someone at the club thught they could do a job but onviousl it hasnt turned out like that for them.

cervi is more the one that is puzzling me i have him on twitter and he still seems to love celtic but havent seen him in a sqaud yet.:shamrock::shamrock::shamrock::shamrock:

    Cervi is woeful.

Goalkeepers are unique as far as footballers go, if you are 2nd in command you are still going to struggle for game time as you can't play in another position and the guy in front of you has less chance of getting injured than an outfield player.

Cervi is poor and i don't have a lot of confidence in Zaluska either tbh.

Give Cervi a run out in a couple of pre-season matches and we'll judge him then :50:

We did that last season and he was woeful....I still remember that goal he let in against seattle sounders where he got it dipped over him, shocking goalkeeping.

would like to see us buy a quality keeper. Prob need a few more experienced players in the side. If not given, would like to see a gk of around 30/31yrs of age. definitely would like a few people who have been around the block come in. a few players who can offer us 2 or 3 years good service.

Cervi played a few pre season games last year and looked very nervy and i've never had full confidence in Zaluska either

Cervi has been played in the last two pre-season friendlys. Why not just give him a wee chance.

you are basing your opinion of him on 1 game, typical of many on this forum who are too quick to judge, Cervi looked much better than Zaluska last year and I would feel better with him as backup, the lad has alot of talent and the coaches here know it as a few MLS teams have tried to buy him and we have rebuffed them all, he is very highly rated over here which is why he gets national caps without being on our first team

The US have produced quite a few quality GK over the past few years. Cervi was one who was tipped for good things but without the game time how can he possibly fulfil his potential.
I like the guy, as he seems like a decent bloke who enjoys life in Glasgow and loves the Hoops but it does seem to have been a bad career move for him.
I hope he gets some first team action but I can't see it happening for him here.
Oh, yeah, forgot about Zaluska - not good enough, even as back up. Move on please.
I've said it for a while, we need a quality #1 and better back up than we currently have.

never actually seen Cervi play so can't really judge. If we can get Given/Forster and another young keeper we can let zaluska go

I used to think Zaluska would be good for the SPL but mistakes were common when he played.

I can't ever recall seeing Cervi play.
