One guy really inspired me and ptu things in perspective. I met through Clic Sargaent and I was like " why the * have I been stressed out and going down the *, this guy has been through so much and I shouldn't be the state I'm in". Really helped me and he didn't even know it. He raised thousands for charity even though he was terminally ill and that just inpsired me. Guy is a legend.

    * Bless You Ally. Never forget you mate.

Francis Hughes. Another of the Hunger strikers and was one of the most dedicated Republicans during the conflict in the north.

There's been a lot of people in my personal life that have inspired me.

Famous: Rene Descartes, David Hume, John Frusciante, Thom Yorke, Dennis The Menace, Buzz Lightyear, Patrick Bateman, Winston Churchill, Susan Boyle, Terry Wogan, Lady Gaga, George Bush, Homer Simpson, Silvio Berlusconi. You know, the usual.

Bobby Sands has always been an inspiration to me, the other strikers throughout irish history also but Bobby stands out obviously. HERO

Mandela, how he was able to forgive his opressors and move on for the greater good of South Africa is truly inspirational (even though its still a horrible country)

Barack Obama, Need I say more he defied all odds to become the most powerful man on the planet.

Neil Lennon, even if I wasnt a Celtic fan I know I would be in awe of Lennon for staying strong after the * he has gone through. Another Irish national treasure IMO

My great grandad, 100 years and I never took the opportunity to learn from him.
Have regretted this for months, just thought he would live forever :shamrock:

Also, Pope John Paul II and Charlie Sheen.

All my inspiration outside football comes from music.

Kelly Jones of the Stereophonics is my hero and I find the amount of stuff that Lennon / McCartney wrote in such a short period of time incredible, geniuses who were ahead of their time.

Might seem a wee bit geeky, but the story of Batman really inspires me.

A guy, who is a multi- Billionaire, uses his personal wealth and his body to help defenceless people who he does not know, and never asks for any thanks in return.

Would be nice if some people in real life, with the same type of personal finance would use it to do good for others:50:

Neil Lennon has been an inspiration last season to all Celtic supporters, to people who have been affected by racism and religious prejudice - that this is unacceptable, and that good people like the Celtic support will NOT tolerate it.

for me its seve ballesteros, always found him an inspiration. you always here stories of people that start with nothing and make it to the top and he is no different. his determination in golf and in his fight against cancer is an attribute that we can only dream of having. RIP seve :50:
