Well, I just happen to find yesterdays drama as very disconcerting, and I am not content with players acting domineering with the club, and any who try to push their demands through the press are not worth respecting, IMO.

I don't know why people get so worked up about the media to be honest. It's just a tool in the football world for negotiations.

Kayal doesn't deserve stick for wanting more than a paltry (in the football world) £8k per week.

In my job, if I was performing better than the people earning two or three times my annual salary you'd be sure as * I'd be looking for a raise and using whatever I could to get it.

Salary reviews are part and parcel of every job in the world. Leave the guy alone.

Finally someone with a bit of sense. Most folk slating him have read the headline and noticed quotation marks and 'Kayal said.' after them.

Anyway 4 good months doesn't warrant him getting a new bumper pay packet. Give us a good year then we should negotiate.

Unless im mistaken lenny mentioned during the season that izz,kayal etc were told by lenny look come here and if you do well we will look at improvements to your deals so dont see how its a drama and not uncommon anyway at any club. If im not mistaken mcgeady had the same thing and boruc when we put prices on their heads they said well pay me as a 10 mill player etc and if i was in any of their places i`d do the same

It sounds like Kayal is rocking the boat and trying to get some EPL clubs to come in and sign him. If that is his attitude then he can go, as we only want players who want to play for Celtic. If Bolton or somebody else up the ante to £6M I would take it.

 

Is he on a 3 year contract. I would tell him to shut his puss and tell him we will consider a transfer next summer after he has got a full season under his belt. If we sell him now we will not get anything like his true value. FFS the guy only played 4 months this season. His value could double over the next year if we do well and are get a run in the Europa.
