    The Mexican Football Federation has just said 5 players have failed a drugs test :97:

    Dont know if its in their League or Internationals. Hopefully not Juarez but I wouldnt be suprised if it was, would explain his mysterious absence from us.

    Players are Ochoa, Duenas, Rodriguez, Bermudez and Sinha.

    It was from tainted food,the only players that matter from that list is Ochoa and Maza the other 3 weren't even going to start a game, to be fair it's

    You're crazy if you think Sinha wasn't going to get significant playing time. Maybe not start, but he was definitely going to play.

    Mexico's defense is the one hurt from this. They're basically going to have to move Marquez back to CB or move Salcido to CB and start Nilo at LB. They only have 5 guys on the roster that can play in the back now.

    And yes, those 5 have been confirmed.

    Worryingly, Mexico have form for this. Seem to remember two guys being caught before at the confederations cup. Aaron Galindo & Salvador Carmona in 2005

    Yeah, but they were from the same club and was and failed an official test, all the 5 Mexican guys failed an internal test, not CONCACAF or FIFA one, and was clenbuterol, the same sustance that presented Alberto Contador.

    the test was from May 21st... so it was something they ate in Mexico while in their training in the Mexican high performance(?) center (Centro de Alto Rendimiento).
