    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    * that. A cheque book manager if ever there was one.

If he'd leave Dundee Utd, we could do worse than appoint Craig Levein.

    Lets see, who is Scottish...

    Jimmy Calderwood - *
John Collins - Not anywhere near experienced enough.
Souness - If Smith was a hard choice for Celtic fans to accept would this be that much worse. :p
David Moyes - Seems the best realistic candidate for the job beside the names mentioned at least.
    SAF - No comment.

I am sure their are some names in the Championship but would that be good enough?

    Very little choice tbh.

Souness would be unable to work with Scotland. Some of the players are of limited ability and we rely on organisation and motivation.

Moyes is a good choice, but he won't leave Everton and is destined for bigger jobs in England.

Very true I said Souness more in jest, I agree that Moyes wouldnt want to be International manager yet so where would this leave Scotland if it where true that Smith was on the way out?

lets hope he doesnt for the sake of the national team and celtic. if walter comes in for the huns, he'll get rid of the shitebags and underachivers and get them back on track.

and Souness wouldnt touch the scotland job - im sure he said so before and I doubt our recent change in form would convince him. hes an arrogant * he thinks hes too good for the position.

Burns doesnt have it for me.

Maybe the deal breaks through and Smith stays with the Scotland set up, or he could do both

I don't think too many non hun's will stand for Smith trying to combine both roles if he does sign on at the Zoo...makes a mockery of the National job imho

Tommy Burns or even dare I say it Hoops manager Gordon Strachan. If Strachan did go to Scotland I would say Roy Keane for the Celtic job.
