How Could Celtic park be improved/refurbished

It could be improved if theey managed to up the capacity to 70 thousand imo

 

Safe standing would be one of the best things to happen to Scottish football. If you couple that with reduced ticket prices, you are guaranteed to generate more money, just look at the Bundesliga for example. It works out best for the supporters and the clubs - I would love it at Celtic Park.

We can only imagine the difference standing would make to Scottish football, the Bundesliga stadiums are packed out and absolutely rocking in terms of atmosphere most of the time.

It's a massive shame it's not in the clubs hands, considering it's proved safe enough elsewhere.

It seems a few disasters are holding us back. Don't get me wrong, they were terrible disasters but we've now got a better idea of how to allow safe standing by following the example of others.

Very unlikely any time soon sadly.

 

I would up the capacity and make the tickets a bit cheaper...

 

Each fan should have their own personal pod. At HT they will get a personal lap dance. They shall also have a Shock button which allows them to give the referee an electric shock if they make the wrong decision. There will also be a beer tap in each pod.

 

Ideally fill in the big open space above the south stand. Problem is would it be worth having a 70,000 seater stadium just now? I doubt it. Though if the thunder gets louder season on season and the EPL collapses then who knows.

 

Oh and if Celtic introduce a safe standing area you can bet yer * it will be more expensive than a seat. Standing is usually the cheapest around Europe but guarantee it wouldn't be in the UK and Celtic.

 

Fix the dugouts, make the players comfortable before they get on the pitch. Our dugout hasnt been changed in * knows how long, im not sure it has been done in my lifetime!

Think the big screen is in the middle of being fixed so thats good.

And i think we should look to improve the changing rooms and the quality of the food that we can buy.

 

i think if the knocked down the old main stand and built it up so it was the same as the rest, it would make CP look unbelievable.

 

a guy asked on the tour about expanding the stadium and the old boy said they would never do it just now.......remember we had attendances of about 30-40k a lot this season.

and both big screens were down so not sure if there fixing that one(hopefully but).looked like they were just giving the place a check over.

Once the new building is built over the road, Celtic park will have a brilliant surrounding compaired to what used to be there a few years ago with them council houses. When I come up from yorkshire to watch the games, it still makes my hairs stand on end once you see the top of the ground along London road. Maybe a quick bit of emultion wouldnt go a miss tho

 

I think that a stadium has to be all seater for Europe? I know Dortmund have standing areas but I dont think they are a loud to use it during European games.

I heard our dugout is being done up next year. A friend of a friend (very reliable source I'm sure you'll agree) said his season ticket behind the dugout is being relocated as they are expanding the dug out to go a bit into the main stand, kinda like Old Traford i guess.

I think the picture idea is a smashing one, if anyone goes in turnstiles T53-T54 they have done some artwork in there of the Lisbon Lions and I think its brilliant.

 

The reason the screen's have been broken for ages is because the company we bought them from went bust so they couldn't find anyone to repair them.
Now they've got a company to do it and we're getting them fixed.

 

Stick another tier on the main stand

 

5 star stadium

 

a wee room where u can go and knock one off when it all becomes too much would be ideal
