According to some reports 6 Cuban players fled. I expected more than six I'm sure more will flee

 

Costa Rica-Cuba will be on in a bit (15 minutes), maybe we'll learn more then. If I'm remembering correctly more Cubans usually try, but they're stopped. I'm surprised 6 were able to get through... that's a large group. It happens every Gold Cup.

Juarez is looking really good, also apprently 2 of the Cuban players that fled were supposed to start the game tonight, still thats not as bad as the baseball tournement they had last summer where Cuba had to forfiet after most of their players claimed asylum

 

I am watching the game on univision and I think I just heard the announcer snort a line of cocaine

Juarez has been really good.

 

Mexico won, 5-nil.

Hernandez (2), Gio Dos Santos (2) and De Nigris the scores... De Nigris could have two as well, but there were a faul in his second goal.

 

Juarez has been very tidy and cut out alot of attacks, he also played a vital part in the 3rd goal. Got no idea why this guy doesn't play for Celtic when he walks straight into the starting 11 of a world class mexico team after sitting the whole season on the bench.

After watching mexico's two last performaces it's clear that this boy is VERY under-rated in Scotland. Brown or Wilson should be dropped to give him a run of games. That doesn't mean I don't like Brown or Wilson I just think Juarez is technically a better player.

Think he'll be a revelation next season if he stays.
