I know what your saying but the source is good, was just outside my gran's house where the accident was and she knows the bus driver well.
Was back in the 70's or 80"s hence only 1 door on the bus.

I'm extremely skeptical but I still believe in people I trust who have claimed to have seen ghosts, I just believe there is a rational, logical and scientific way of explaining it. The link above made some great claims when it comes to supposed haunted places and I believe something like that may have happened plus the fact that he already may have known the person had died and you mind puts two and two together. The mind is a great thing for making patterns in things.

If you're going to post a screamer, at least make it a convincing one and not the original one that encouraged loads of * to start making them in the first place :56:

That car commercial has been around for as long as I've had a computer.

Yes. Have always believed in them since I can remember. My mother had told me a few stories and my mother wouldnt lie to me. My dad said he didn't when I was young but I think he was just saying that so I wouldn't get scared.

The only time I have or have thought I have seen a ghost was when I was 14. I live on Mull and have it has 1 HS and it was a good couple of hours away so I we tended to go to Oban High and stay in a hostel a very old building which had alot of "Sightings" of Ghosts. They then porta cabins outside and I remember it was some of the girls in them(boys now though) and all the boys stayed in one side and the rest of the girls stayed at the other of the main building.

I went down stairs to the common room one day and I remember a girl from the ports cabins crying with people around her I found out that night she had went for a nap and woke up to a person sitting at the bottom of her bed.

Now that the boys stay there I was going down the street with a mate who stayed in there we went to his room to get the money and I went for a * I remember thinking that someone was behind be but I knew there wasn't I done it quick went to wash my hands looked in the mirror and a head comes into the corner of the mirror I've never turned so quick in my life! I was sure it was a my mate trying to scare me as the toilets are small and you would only have to stick your head in the door bit when I got to the corridor there was no one there I just got outside and waited in my mate in shock sort of I told him what happened after and he had said mist nights he wakes up and hears footsteps and alot of the other boys told mr that. He also told me that he heard the pay phone ringing it was inside the the porta cabin or annex and we call them and the thing that puzzled me about the phone that it docent work so it wasn't people pranking.

Why dose the LU have so many Sightings ?:56:

It's stories like the ones above me that make me believe I suppose, because they sound very genuine, but I voted no, purely because I've never experienced one myself and like I said on a previous page, never want to either.

sorry about the spelling in my last post i was on my iPod Touch.

it would have to be a very clear sighting to scar you i think. Quick onse like mine i just think it could have been my imagination. I was just so sure there would be something there. But theres been a few stories from there.

Last year about i was on my way to town when the dafty that lives next door to me shouted me we hardly talk really and anytime he's usually talking * about man united and crap anyway he looked quite shaken and asked if could speak to me so anyway he begins asking me if i heard any noises last night just looked at him weird and said no he then told me that his backdoor was slamming and he could hear voices so anyway i didn't pay much attention just said it could have been anything his sister had died about 4 years previous to it but obviously i didn't mention that to him.

Anyway say about a month later i wake up random as * at 3:00am thinking it was 6 for work begin walking downstairs half asleep then i'm nearly * my pants my dog was going nuts down the stairs barking and i could hear banging so i begin walking down slowly then i heard nothing i open the living room door and my kitchen door slams about twice (it's always locked because of the dog and he is always in the kitchen)

i'm just stood there froze in * shock while my dog is in the corner near the telly sitting curled in a ball in absolute fear looking at the door felt like forver but after a few minutes i turned every light and telly on and grabbed the dog and went into the kitchen and the poor thing didn't want to move for * it's half pitbull aswell so it's not exactly scared of much, another thing was that downstairs which is usually nice and warm every morning was * freezing when i finally calmed down a little bit i noticed how cold it was (this was around july aswell) ended up taking the day off work was shaken to the * bone.

This comes from someone who hated horror movies and all that * and always questioned ghost stories but needless to say the story soon shut me up and i really can't think of another explantion.

People who claim to have seen ghosts usually believe in that sort of thing and are more susceptible to think they have seen or felt something paranormal.

I dunno maybe some natural light? flash? could be anything. Thats what I love about "ghostly" images, they're so ambiguous it lets your imagination do the rest. I'll be honest that looks nothing like a man in a confederate uniform :icon_mrgreen:
