    It’s Yuri Zhirkoff

CHELSEA star Yuri Zhirkov yesterday made clear he is ready to leave Stamford Bridge.
The Russia international winger, 27, is determined to return home after a frustrating two years in West London.
And he revealed: "Unfortunately at Chelsea I hardly had any proper match practice last season.
"I want to play, not sit on the bench."
Zhirkov moved to Chelsea for £18million in the summer of 2009 from CSKA Moscow - in a move driven by Blues' billionaire owner Roman Abramovich.
But last term he was used in only 22 games, mostly as a late sub.
He added: "I don't want to discuss now any particular offers or possibilities.
"I'm still a Chelsea player. I only began thinking of my possible return to Russia as I want to play."
Reports in Russia are linking him to moves back to CSKA, or arch-rivals Spartak Moscow.

NICKLAS BENDTNER is confident about securing a move away from Arsenal.
The Denmark striker is keen on ending his seven years with the Gunners and has attracted interest from Fulham and Bayern Munich.
Arsenal want around £10million for the 23-year-old and his father and agent Thomas said: "Nicklas has the qualities to live up to this sum.
"We can certainly find a club that is willing to pay. He has been valued higher before.
"But, of course, if you are on the bench the price goes down."

Arsène Wenger has ruled out selling Samir Nasri to Manchester United this summer, despite discussions between Arsenal and the player remaining at an impasse over extending his stay at the Emirates.

Nasri, a £15.8m signing from Marseille in the summer of 2008, is entering the final 12 months of his contract with suggestions in France that United would express an interest in his availability, speculation fanned by comments from his national team-mate Patrice Evra, who has urged him to move to Old Trafford.

"One thing's for sure: we're not selling him to Manchester United," Wenger told the French radio station RTL. "Are we still in discussions with Nasri? Yes, but we are still in disagreement over the financial contract on offer, which we haven't settled. We are trying to extend his deal."

Wenger is anxious to retain the 23-year-old but he is willing to listen to offers for Andrey Arshavin – though, perhaps significantly, the manager does not envisage losing his captain, Cesc Fábregas, to Barcelona this summer. "Barcelona were interested last year in Cesc but not this year. For me, he's the world's best midfielder. He's our captain. We've built the team around him. Of course we want to keep him."

Wenger remains in the market to add to his own options and acknowledges the need to add defensive strength as well as a top-quality striker to his squad. Interest has been expressed in Lille's Ivory Coast forward Gervinho, 24, who will make a decision on his future after his country's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin on Saturday.

Asked what he would seek to add to his forward ranks, Wenger said: "World-class strength. Everyone is looking to reinforce their attack as it's always important to improve in that area of the team.

"We're also after an experienced defender, maybe one who is already used to life in the Premier League. That has been our weakness.

"But you should remember that we still had a better defence last season than a lot of other good teams, including Manchester City."

Frank Arnesen is the main reason he is now director of football at Hsv since he left Chelsea so he wants to raid them for most the up and coming players.

Aye but it's still the attitude amongst young English footballers that the Premiership is the holy grail. Whereas the likes of Germany, Spain and Italy are far better for learning your footballing trade in.

The likes of Paul Lambert and Pep Guardiola have both said that it was there time in spent away from home that taught them what football was all about. Full new tactical side to the game. It can only be good for a young guys development.

Once he was a bit younger he looked like he could have been, doesn't seem to have developed physically though. He does have ability though.
