    I think we need to watch out that we don't lose our sense of humour, I remember at Ipox singing "two Andy Gorams" at the time of his mental problems (not that he doesn't have them now!) A joke is a joke whether it's in bad taste or not.

    as for the kevin bridges thing, i remember cracking jokes about cancer with my father in law as he was lying in hospital wasting away to the disease, a personal thing between us that were in it together, get my point ???

    Bridges is a tim, and was there to give the players a laugh.

    Saying this is no worse than Bridges comment is like saying there is no difference between a balck man calling another black man a '*', than a white guy calling a black man a '*'.

    To me this is not a joke. This is a sensitive issue involving peoples lives akin to mocking the people of Iraq or Palestine. He/she should be punished.

    thats my point though mate just because it is a sensitive subject and causes offence doesnt make it a crime. i dont think this guys broke the law he's just made a joke in severe bad taste at the wrong time. doesnt deserve to be chucked out of uni over it
