    Why people want Boruc back is beyond me. Yes he was a great keeper but he became to prone to mistakes. If he didn't wind the huns up etc then he wouldn't be wanted back as much.

    Given - No thanks, wages are far to high. Is he not quite injury prone also?

    Personally i'd rather we spent that little bit extra and got Forster. New clean sheet record (think he also had most clean sheets with Norwich when he was there) and still very young, has a very bright future. Learn to come off his line a bit quicker and we're sorted.

    Nonsense. He's wanted back because he's the best goalkeeper the club and this country has ever seen. Phenomenal GK.

    Yes i agree. But towards then end of his time at Celtic he made to many mistakes for me. If it was anyone else they would be slaughtered.

    Forsters record this season has been pretty impressive, it could be even better next season with a couple of decent CBs in front of him.

    CELTIC want to sign Newcastle’s Fraser Forster outright after the keeper’s successful loan spell.

    <STYLE>#bodycopy A { FONT-SIZE: 12px}</STYLE>

    The 6ft 7in 23-year-old plays his last game for Celtic in Saturday’s Scottish Cup Final against Motherwell.<!--[--> <!--[--></[>

    <!--[--><!--[--></[>
    But Bhoys chief Neil Lennon last night made it clear Forster is at the top of his shopping list.<!--[--> <!--[--></[>
    <!--[--><!--[--></[>

    <!--[--><!--[--></[>
    “We haven’t spoken to Newcastle yet but there may be inroads made,” he said. “I think Fraser has been magnificent and we’d certainly like to keep him.”<!--[--> <!--[--></[>

    <!--[--><!--[--></[>
    Toon chief Alan Pardew is not looking to cash in on Forster.<!--[--> <!--[--></[>

    <!--[--><!--[--></[>But he has indicated that if he opts for Steve Harper as his No. 1 next season, he will send Forster or Tim Krul out on loan.<!--[-->

    I think Lenny's first choice is definetly Forster and right it should be. He's been the most solid consistent goalkeeper we have had in years. Stays out the headlines the exact way it should be.<!-- 1305674893.59--><!-- 1305677933.62--><!--[--><!-- 1305677950.95--></[>

    i read in one of the rags today that we're gonna try and get forster on loan again, i wouldnt like this, i want him to sign permanantly, or we should look elsewhere, i like him alot but i dont like uncertainty over the GK position

    If we can get Forster for 2m it'd be a great bit of business. A young guy with a good career ahead of him. Was initially surprised we'd got him on loan to be honest. Heard great things about him before he came to us. He was tipped to be an England 1st team international in a couple of years. If he's valued at 2m then that's a bargain in my opinion.We'd never get a better keeper for that price these days.

    Can't believe people are mentioning David Marshall. He rarely plays these days.Last time i saw him he was pretty crap. Forster is leagues ahead of him already.

    Westwood's quality, better than Forster, more experienced and far more vocal.

    ideally i'd love to see either Westwood or Given sign (or both) as the main keeper (although i'd be worried about Given's fitness.) i'd also then bring in an experienced european keeper on a free as strong back up, plenty of experienced keepers seemed to be available last summer on frees - hopefully the same this year.

    just one to throw out there is Scott Carson, in need of a change of scenery...

    I'm surprised the amount of support for a holy goalie return.....are ye forgetting the contempt he showed for us when he admitted that he realised he could play * and the celtic fans would still love him. Artur was at times magnificent for us....but he made some monumental rab douglas esque errors especially in his final season..........and the word squiggler still rankles.
    if i coiuld be assured we'd be getting a focussed artur....i'd take him in a blink of an eye.....but how can we trust his committment after his comments.

    My personal order of preference

    1- Boruc or Westwood
    2- Forster or Kello
    3-Zaluska

    i'd take boruc back in a heart beat because i know lenny would sort him out if he started slipping up.

    Wolves keeper Wayne Hennessey would be a good signing imo, if they go down that is!
