    He really was brilliant, it was heart breaking for fans of my vintage to watch him blow it. And he did. He readily admits that now. And this was before agents existed.

    He must have Dutch genes because he really could have played with anyone. Became a billybigtime and it fecked him. Not helped by badly treated injuries.

    Annoni and Paul Elliot. I remember bi Rico going off at half time and coming back with just the one side burn! Another time he had the green and white boots and came out with one black boot for the second half!
    Stepane Mahe was a great crosser of the ball as well.

    Perfect example of a cult player !! He was * brilliant , memories of him ripping of his shirt at Ibrox to reveal a t-shirt with a picture of Pope JP on it had me in tears !! Celtic Legend and quality lunatic !!
