Forster is a future England number 1, Zaluska is a run of the mill SPL goalkeeper.

    So yes Forster over Zaluska.

Zaluska is the second Polish keeper, after Boruc.

Is being an English keeper something to be proud of? When your competition is keepers like Green?

If Zaluska had been given the playing time, maybe he wouldn't be so 'nervy'. He has a huge amount of talent, whereas Forster is destined to be average at best. And it's going to get to a point where Zaluskas career is over, without him ever being given a chance.

Mate i'd be amazed if Zaluska has 1 cap for Poland. Kusczak, Tyton, probably many more are ahead of him anyway

You do realise that Celtic are about to break the clean sheet record for a season, based almost entirely on the work of Forster?

Forster is in a different league to Zaluska altogether. Zaluska is also not even 4th choice Polish keeper, where you got 2nd from I'm not quite sure.

I confuse easily, I could easily be mistaken. Based solely upon his performances, I see a lot of latent ability.

Fraser Forster is a better goalkeeper than Lukasz Zaluska.

Not a Zaluska fan, and I do have reservations about Forster!

Definately Forster, made some big saves this season and he commands his area well.

Gutted we won't be able to hang on to him.

I like both, but it is no coincidence that a polish user made this thread.

zaluska has a limper wrist than graham norton, a shot just seems to go through him, he is also unlucky and goalies need luck

forster, i dont like for some reason, maybe taking fiften years to get down to a couple of trundlers in the cis cup final for starters. he hasnt had much to do, but those two timid weak shots just astound me how he didnt get across for them, even blindfolded drunk and upside down, i reckon i might have got to them.

I can't understand all the negativity towards Fraser Forster. :43:

He's not perfect but show me a goalie we've had that is? Even Artur, who I absolutely loved, had his flaws. We have the best defensive record in the SPL this year and we've kept the most clean sheets we've kept in years. Fraser Forster has been a major contributor to that. I think he's been a good signing for us and I'd happily take him on permanently.

Didnt bother reading all the posts in this. Im assuming the sensible majority will have already stated that Forster, in his first season and with a defence in front of him that gets changed more often than Jordans bed sheets, has kept an almost record number of shut outs. He has also pulled off some wonderful match winning saves for us, notably against Dundee Utd away and Motherwell (I think) at home.

He lacks a little confidence, his kicking isnt fantastic and he needs to be more decisive. Even so, he is 10 times the keeper Zaluska is who is no better than a 2nd goalie for us.

Zaluska has shown that hes not good enough to be number 1.

Forster is a very good keeper, I think Boruc has made us forget how poor we have been in that department for years.

Zaluska is a bombscare every time he's out there.

Like most professional keepers Zaluska Is a good shot stopper but not much more.

FF catches an awful lot of high balls which has helped against the likes of rangers who have dominated us at corners in the past.

I'm happy with him, I just wish he was a tad quicker.

EDIT: Zal also had a very annoying knack of going the right way for penalties but letting them go under his body which infuriated me.
