Did we release an apology to Dida when our fan got on the pitch and slapped him in the champions league after skippy's late winner?

    Why don't they just say

"he's make think he's a Hearts fan but we don't want him and if he supports another club and used our ground as his springboard, I'm sure that other club would disown him as well"

Hearts fans conduct this season has been every bit as bad as Rangers fans inside the stadiums, their singing at Parkhead whilst the man had a heart attack was one of the most sickening things I've ever witnessed, last night obviously as well. I hate Hearts just as much as I hate Rangers.

    Further Statement Released by Hearts:

    http://www.heartsfc.co.uk/articles/20110512/club-condemns-actions_2241384_2358649

Heart of Midlothian Football Club today condemned the actions of the individual who is alleged to have attempted to assault Celtic manager Neil Lennon.

Following the launch of Hearts' own internal enquiry yesterday evening (11th May) after events during the second half of the game against Celtic, the club this morning contributed to an investigation launched by the SPL into the matter. The club will co-operate fully with all ongoing enquiries.

Hearts worked with Celtic, the police and stewards weeks in advance of the game to ensure that all provisions were made to ensure the safety and security of staff and visitors to the stadium. As a result the game was flagged in the highest possible category and police and stewarding levels were increased accordingly. However the intent and actions of one individual to breach the security measures put in place has tarnished the club and the wider game in this country as a whole.
Hearts reiterates its commitment to safety and security of supporters, media and employees and will take the most severe action available to it against any individual or group that brings the club into disrepute.

Tynecastle is renowned amongst football supporters and indeed players of all clubs for a real vibrancy and a positive atmosphere and the stadium has been rightly recognised amongst away supporters as the best stadium in Scotland.
There is a limit, however, which was grossly breached last night and we will support the authorities in every way we can in order to help protect the environment of one of Scotland's best sporting arenas and the game as a whole.

See Hearts have just announced they have made a £39,000 profit on SSN. Ha ! Well if the * SFA pull their heads out of their arses and punish them for last night, they can kiss goodbye to that profit and more ! * !

they must have had a right brains trust going on if they couldnt have figured out to put security around the visitors dug out. Pathetic statement, just words that mean nothing, had they adequately prepared for the visit of Celtic the first thing they would have done is had measures in place to ensure nobody could access the pitch.

    Excuse me?

I was asking a simple question about two similiar high-profile incidents. I fail to see how that merited such a response. Of course there was no malice in the Dida incident and there obviously was with last night's lunatic but there are still similarities and I was only curious as to what our club's response was in similiar circumstances.

And, for the record, I'm a third year medical student so I'll let you decide if I'm '* retarded' or not you big hard keyboard warrior you.

The fact that Dida was the one who issued an apology tells you all you need to know about that incident.

The only thing comparable about the 2 incidents is that a fan was on the pitch.

Nice to see that even in the 2nd statement released by Hearts there was still no apology or concern for Lenny's well being.

    Such a nice club.

    Hardly.

A fan gets on the pitch, *-slaps another player then scurries away. A fan gets on the pitch, swings for the manager then gets wrestled to the ground. Both idiots, one was a malicious attack one was not. The fact remains that both fans COULD have hurt the player/manager in question if they had so desired, which is totally unacceptable.

I still don't think my comparison was going overboard. The only regret I have would be to speak of that * Dida in the same breath as Neil Lennon.

Enough to merit being called a * *? Again, you can decide.

*-slaps? Do you always tend to over-exaggerate and dramatise? :97:

So being insulted and provoked is a basis for lying then?

The idiot was on the park celebrating when he touched Dida on the shoulder, that is a fact. Anything else he COULD had done is irrelevant.

Like I said, the only similarity was that a fan was on the field.
