This has really annoyed me, I knew Freddy wasn't signed as a regular starter, I completely accept that he was brought in what I thought would be a bit part role, why has he barely featured?

I thought he would be given the odd start in the SPL and his experience could have proved very useful in important games.

He has basically been a complete waste of resources and a complete waste of time! Has he actually started a game in the SPL? I believe he could have made a good contribution to the cause and could have been such an effective player to use.

I could kill two birds and one stone and ask the same about Juarez! Now, I understand people have told rumours of a big fall out with Lenny, surely Lennon would have given him a chance to make up for that over the season especially when you take into account how well he played in the Emirates cup game and the fact he cost was it 3.5m?

Now I'm absolutely behind Lenny, but both of these players could have played a massive part in the season as squad players and both have been bench warmers in games when they could have come in and done a job.

What on earth is going on? :97:

I haven't met a single person who is surprised that Freddie has achieved nothing. A bizarre decision from the very start.

We have dodged a few similar bullets alright this season, Sol Campbell, David James...

We need to stay away from these type of deals he was past it once he left West Ham he may have looked amazing in the mls good for him but he was still past it .

have u seen a handsome hun
apart from a 30 minute cameo at killie a few weeks ago were he came on and looked good.....he's offered us nothing.....but.....his experience in the dressing room talking to the young players may have been a great asset. but i'd admit his contribution has been worthless.....down to the fact commons has been a revelation.

We signed him because he's a Swedish number 7.

To sell shirts, that's my opinion.

It was a waste of money but only in hindsight.

Sure none of us thought he'd become a legend for us but he may have been able to come on and change a game here or there and, most importantly, added depth to the squad.

Its a shame it didn't work out but I can think of many players who "flopped" at Celtic and who cost a lot, lot more.

waste of money panic buy, the money we have paid for him to watch us for the last few months could have gone tog etting wilson in form forrest early or even a * Cb in

hope lennon learns from this rookie mistake for next season

They made a choice which could have turned out to be a great one, but cleary Freddie has lost it since America. No point in getting angry or annoyed over it these things happen in football.

Sell shirts to who? Don't think i've seen a single Ljungberg 7 shirt about Glasgow & doubt anyone in Sweden could care less.

Think it was a just gamble that didn't pay off.

It was purely a "lets sign a big name to keep the fans happy" by the board.

Are we trying to blame this farce on signing freddie ?? Why cant we just accept the fact that the team were not good enough end of story ,we let the huns off the hook again not because we signed freddie or sammy missed that penalty ,we lost too many stupid points against wee teams , how can a team destroy there greatest rivals and i mean destroy thgem yet the same team can lose to inverness and motherwell ,drop points to hamilton dundee utd and caley at home ,thats the reason we came second
