Spot on , we've thrown it away with no one else to blame because even with being cheated by the refs etc. it was still in our hands until we threw it away on Wednesday

 

Teams/authorities have been against us since our inception. I hate that McCall's men at Motherwell laid down against the huns and many teams have done it at this late stage season after season. However, as big Caesar said, "We knew everybody was against us. We just had to be better than everybody". Unfortunately, we haven't been this season.

 

I look back at December and the points we dropped back then. WE are the the cause of our own downfall. Last Wednesday we were rotten, end of.

 

Yes. We were awful against ICT and that is a fact. I still can not accept that we will not be champs, but we are guilty.

 

To win this league would be one of the sweetest ever, ok the odds are are against us, but I'm not for chucking in the towell yet. Win the league/lose the league, one things sure, my ticket's there for next year, and proud to say so. We are not in a crisis, we are a developing team, with a developing manage, and "OUR DAY WILL COME" soon.

What I said in my post was we need to do it ourselves or did no one read that???? and was hinting at they were struggling thro games for ages now all of a sudden they have scored plenty????? of goals now for the last 3 or 4 games, where, why has this, all of a sudden changed, this has happended before or have we all got short memeory's, I was sitting with that killie * on the last game of the season when we lost the league and all the fat cow in front of me could talk about was how many the scum of europe had scored at castle grey skulll???? wake up

 

Cairns is wrong to put the all the blame on us coming second again on the anti RC/Celtic bigotry that clearly exists within Scottish Football and journalism and indeed Scottish society today but he's not entirely wrong either.

All the points that other posters have made about us being makers of our own downfall on the park are correct, mostly, but not entirely.

We are being constantly drip fed by the media that Scotland has a major problem with sectarianism but that it does't exist within the SFA. I think we all know differently now! On Wednesday afternoon, whilst waiting in the queue for cup final tickets and to renew the season books/tickets/cards, or whatever they are called now, the guy next to me said that Motherwell commited 6 fouls against the MOB at the weekend! Surely not, I don't even want to investigate that. If it's true...it's an utter feckin disgrace and would be headlines in any other country. Is it true?
If it is, would you be surprised? If not, why would such a seemingly intelligent rational guy say it?

When you lose so many points to teams in the bottom six it tells it all. Lets just look at the progress we have made this season. I think the future looks good and it looks green. We need stability to progress. Mon the Hoops!!!!

 

The whole place is not corrupt - We're behind due to our shortcomings - No one elses.

 

The only reason we are currently lying second in the league is because our players have not played to their potential in all the games , We have thrown too many points away cheaply . Like other guys I am really sick of this conspiracy * , Yes there are certain people that will do us no favours but to say all of the Scottish institutions are against us is just pure crap .

 

We've just not been good enough when it's counted at certain times this season, we can't blame anyone but ourselves.

I do however think the squad will be much wiser next season and I'm looking forward to having more clean sheets, more goals scored, fewer scored against and finishing top of the table as worthy Champions.
