He does the square root of * all falls on his * and it's well done Paddy keep it up Paddy .

Sammy does it and he is a * and worse .

There is only one Scapegoat for the Celtic support and that is Sammy :38:

Sammy wasnt playing so they needed a new scapegoat.

Let's blame the substitute for not changing the game when it was the wasters already on the field who lost us the game.

Paddy McCourt, will never be nothing ever than a fringe player for Celtic. How many seasons has he been with us now ? 2/3 seasons, and played under the same amount of managers for us. Managers watch these players day in and day out, please ask yourself, why is he never included in our team on a permanent basis ? Simply because he doesn't possess the talent, or commitment, to warrant him being a first team player. Yes, admitedly he is a tim through and through, but that alone cant justify his automatic selection. Paddy, it's time to move on mate, and take players like McGinn, Loovens, Murphy, Samaras, Stokes, Cha, Mulgrew, Maj, to name a few with you. Paddy McCourt is no better than the likes of ex players like Brian MgLaughlan, Owen Archdeacon, Paul McGowan etc. Players of this calibre simply hang around and drain our wages bill.

I wish some punters on here, would treat others with a bit of respect, irrespective of opinions, after all we are supposed to be Celtic supporters aren't we. Everybody's entitled to an opinion, and everyone is entitled to disagree, but some of the vicious sniping on here, is way out of order. So please guys, let's all show each other a bit of respect, and debate each topic that's submitted, and not behave like the manky mob do. Anyway, my opinion on McCourt, isn't based on Wednesday's game, I gave Paddy a chance to impress long ago, and sadly Iv'e never saw enough, to bang the drum.

draw was a good result before we threw the incentive away

keep him. He's not breaking the bank and it better to keep him as a squad player for the bench/the odd run of games than go and buy more squad players.

mccourt imo is the most talented player at the club, izzy been superb ,kayal workhorse great player in his role , ledley clever keeps possesion never gives the ball away, none has the ability that mccourt has , 1 . 0 at caley . 1. 0 at st mirren paddy set up hooper in dying minutes , 1. 0 motherwell thats 6 points we would not have only for mccourt , the guy should be played more , if lennon had put him on earlier at caley he might have done something and if he had got the penalty he,d have been praised from the heavens , there are times he,s quiet but one bit of magic can win you games and he,s well capable,

We need to get rid of the last remaining footballer at the club.An army of athletes and robots is what we need....:31:There are people on here with some balls talking about "the Celtic way".Get rid of the only guy that makes you on edge when he gets the ball? on * money, probably a quarter of what Celtic legend Freddie Ljungberg is on?£30k a week to be a "good influence" at the training ground? What is wrong with some people on here. The most critical fans in the world....I'd go as far as to say the * talked about nearly every player on here has probably cost us pts due to morale and confidence taking a hammering.Support your team and by all means have a go when necessary but the backbiting on here is beyond a joke.Hail Hail..

some of the comments on here are shocking. some of you shouldn't call yourselves celtic supporters with the way you slate players on the team.

Scored in the 2-2 draw at home to Inverness to give us a point (we'd be 2 points behind Rangers without that goal), scored the only goal of the game against Motherwell to give us 3 points (we'd be 5 points behind Rangers without it). Without McCourt's presence, we'd be 5 points behind Rangers and out of the title race. I understand your view on Paddy, that he hasn't contributed much recently, but don't be unappreciative.

We Shall Not Be Moved - It always gets the crowd buzzing
I think he's a tremendously talented footballer and agree he's contributed to some results this year but has he not become a "luxury" player? Is he the man you would bring on when it's backs to the wall in a big game (Huns or Europe) to try and get a winner? I don't think he is.

Nobody should doubt his skill but I don't think he's more than a squad player. Having said that, I'd punt Freddy and keep Paddy at least we know what he brings to the team in some games..........as opposed to Freddy who's done??????? Oh yea, nothing at all except take a wage.

1/ instead of slagging the players we should be supporting every single one of our players no matter how * you think he is.
2/ he was only £300,000 ffs

He was going down before contact which imo he dived. Aye there was contact after he was halfway down to the deck.
My feelings on McCourt have been pretty clear over the last couple of years, never going to make it at Celtic, won't be a regular. If he wants to sit on a bench til his contract is up then fine. He can do some unbelievable stuff with ease at times bu imo not enough. Sometimes can seem totally uninterested when playing.
Anyway, we as Celtic should always be looking to improve our squad not just settle. We could get rid of a few wingers and bring in better.
