Wages?

He needs to be punted in the Summer if he is on them kind of wages. He gets more than Izzy and Kayal combined Who the * is going to pay money for him and near enough match his wages is the problem though.

I'm sure Ljumberg was quoted to be on the same money as he was in MLS which was $16000/wk US money so that seems about right in pounds.

 

I'd imagine he would be on something like that.

He did come from Sunderland who would have been giving him a decent wage.

Ledley is definetly the highest earner in the team.

Izaguirre and Kayal to get a decent wage increase in line with this seasons performances to secure them on long contracts.

I wouldnt be suprised if we get offers for the pair of them to be honest.

Loovens is on 15k a week not 4k.

Ljungberg is not on 10k a week - 20k+ a week. (A WASTE)

 

Murphy should be sold and so to brown, anything more than 15k a week is too much for them

Hinkel and loovens are both big earners, so is ljungberg

 

I'm almost certain that he is not on 20 k. He was on 16 in MLS and Celtic matched. That's about 10k in pounds.
Not gonna put the mortgage on it as you can never believe whats in the media.

i would be very surprised if ljunberg isn't on a pay-as you-play deal, i dont think lawell would have offered him a contract of 20k with his age injury problem, lack of fitness and not being guaranteed to start , something like 8-10k a week with appearance and goal bonuses, dont believe everything you read in the papers

 

Ljunberg was paid $1,300,000 a year when he was in MLS.... (or around 787,800 pounds for you guys)

So 15k to 16k a week sounds right...

 

Murphy yes, Brown no. He is a rock in the Celtic team, a proper kind of hardman and has that strong mentality that playing in SPL needs. He reminds me of Lennon, maybe thats why Lennon is so fond of our captain and always runs to him after good matches. And should the captain not be the highest earner on the team? sets good precedence for the rest of the teams wages if no-one earns more than the captain

 

Lawell gave Balde 30+k p/w and a long term deal who was 30+.
