If that is the case, then i don't really understand trying to sign him. Suppose if we have been in for him before then Lennon must see something but I'm not really that excited by this.

I really dont think this is a priority I think a keeper is a must next then a CB then if there is any money left in the pot then a striker

I am not convinced about this possible signing target. It smacks in similarity with the signing of Rasmussen. He is too old to develop to obtain a large transfer fee from the EPL in the next few seasons and he is not a 20 goal a season striker.

I don't think we will sign another centre back. K.Wilson and the signing of Wanyama looks to be it, Lennon has said he views Wanyama as a central defender more than a DMC, which leaves us with a * of alot of central defenders. Think we are just looking for a GK and a FC now. :50:

Do you think they are good enough taking into consideration that our rb and lb both push forward lots ?

I have no idea mate, no one really has a clue about Wanyama, he is young and there are good reports on him but I don't imagine he'll be an immediate starter. With regard to Wilson, Lennon has been chasing him a while and he was established in the Championship, so hopefully he will do the business.

I would have preferred someone who was tried and tested, but don't think that is within our budget:38:

I'm just hoping it spells the end for Loovens, Hooiveld, O'Dea :icon_mrgreen:

Wouldn't mind going into the season with Wilson, Rogne, Mulgrew, Majstorovic and Wanyama...with Wanyama able to play the DMC role too

Meanwhile, Celtic's bid to land Erik Huseklepp hit the buffers after Bari demanded £4million.
The Italian outfit initially said the Norwegian had an agreement in place that would enable him to move on should a club offer £1.5m if they were relegated to Serie B.

Bari did go down but after Stoke also entered the race for his signature, it is understood Bari upped the asking price to £4million.

    4mil? * off ... next!

£4m when we already have Samaras who can play that role? No thanks. No doubt we will be linked with more strikers before this window ends as well.

I feel sorry for Hunskelper, he wanted to come here in January but Brann were being * and now Bari are doing the same.:31:

at the end of the day if Hunskelper digs his feet in , they can't make him sign for another club.
if he really want to play for us then he should just tell them , celtic or nobody.

Celtic were also being * by not paying 200K more and now he goes for 4 million, think it would have been better business to pay then. Champions league would have paid that back, but hey we will not be held to ransom!!

This attitude has cost us the league to the worst Rangers teams I have ever seen, so what does that say for us. Oh but we are so well run!! Its all bollocks, you either want to win or you don't and by the looks of things we don't, not really.

Who says this guy would have won us * all? :97:

Our club had a valuation of him that they wanted more than. We didn't think he was worth it so instead we got Kris Commons. Bad business then yeah?

:56: Seriously? The guy went to another club and scored 2 goals. The role we wanted him to fill was the Commons role. Would you replace Commons with Huseklepp? Would have paid over five times more for Huseklepp who is nowhere near as much as a goal threat.
