Magic's problem is finding a partner to play with. Miller's style does not suit him. Get the ball played into his feet inside the box and he'll score. Magic might not be the best player but he is the best finisher at the club and when big Jan comes back that should be the partnership. Miller will always work his balls off but Magic is a better finisher.

mmmm a lovely greezy unhealthy hamburger before the match sounds great....And Dempsey magic and miller are differnt player when do u ever see magic chasing around or chasing lost causes NEVER ! they are miles apart in terms of work rate and are the same with levels of abilty which is average - poor

The fact is I was in London on a two day visit and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Magic and I was glad to have a chat with him.

the fact is that he is CFC's top-scorer yet he is having, in my opinion, a far worse season than the last - which does not sound good for the Hoops.

The truth is that Maciej' s performance in SPL is far from perfect, but I was watching him playing last months Euro 2008 qualification games against Portugal and Belgium, and I must admit I was really impresssed. Leo Beenhakker wants him to play as offensive midfielder rather than typical striker spending most of time in the penalty area. While players such as Matusiak or Smolarek shot goals - Magic works hard, often changing field sectors and absorbing defenders with individual runs and great passess. For me it' s obvious that Zurawski is not lacking in form, I think the only problem is to find him a proper position on the fileld so Strachan could fully use his potential for the good of a whole Celtic team.

perhaps he was buying it for his kid? perhaps it doesnt really matter? BBJ seemed to get by fine lol. h ope magic finds some form soon, but im afraid the truth is last season we didnt really play against any high quality defences. magic could score for fun in the spl, but i dont believe he has the quality for the champions league. added to that he seems lathargic or dissinterested at present, which all together makes for a poor showing this season. i hope he proves me wrong and knocks in the winner in milan though

Absoluty true - so why i s Strachan puttin him up front? Probably because there is no one else to put there. In fact, Celtc gettng a new striker might be good news for Zurawski - maybe then he could be moved a bit back and get more ball posession.

my opinion...magic is bit off form + can't find his place in the team this season. Word's like - he's not good enough for CL makes me laugh... yeah a guy who lead his previous team (which was much weaker than Celtic now) to the sucess against strong european sides in Uefa Cup and who lead the NT to the WC and is doinig it aswell in Euro qualifires against strongest teams in the world... but oh yes... he's not to good for CL...

i mean. are players like f.e.: Adriano or C.Ronaldo good enough for CL?
I guess yes they are... then why Magic looked much better than them while playing aginst their teams?

maybe it was weaker but far more coherent in playing style + easier to watch. Even while loosing to Lazio. Strachan has a lot to work on.

 

Today Zurawski, hustled more, tried more, however once again he is NOT influencing the game enough for my liking, he certainly is NOT the only one, but how long will GS keep playing players that are marginal in their contribution to the game.
I wont say Boruc won the three points for us, but I sure am very pleased he was in goal today.

 

he did well today, worked hard like he does for poland, credit due!
