    David Marshall and Brian McLean went to my primary. Pat Nevin was a pupil at my secondary school a bit before my time there. There was a Partick Thistle striker as well but i can't remember his name. My pal went to school with Bob Malcolm and says he was actually really talented. They must have coached that out of him at Ibrox.

    My Grandad went to school with Paul Sturrock, they still speak every now and then.

    Not really anything to do with this thread but Charlie Adam's Dad lives on same street as my Grandad and Charlie's Dad is a Celtic fan.

    my family shared both schools with all the mcstays

    they went to holy cross- loadsa players went there, few ex-celts too




    only fitbaw player to have went to ma school, was the captain of ma hometown team and richard offiong

    was also a guy went to schools nearby who currently plays for Falkirk

    seen his sister a few times on the supporters bus

    there's also a reserve player who lives about 5 mins away from my school, it MIGHT be Paul McGowan but i'm not 100%

    Before my time was Roy Aitken, Steve Clarke, Lou MacCari and another who`s name I cannot remember.

    The only one that plays from around my time in school is Chris Boyle (plays for Albion Rovers). Played with Ayrshire School`s teams with a few famous players.

    Charlie Mulgrew went to my school. My cousin was friends with him

    All the Celtic youth players are at my school aswell. Paul George was there last year

    Aye Holy Cross, not sure which Primary. Full of footballers that school & area. What's yr families name? I'll ask ramorra if she remembers them. There were 7 of my maws lot so chances are yours'll know one of the mad mental Duffys of Covanburn Avenue!
